Ciao a tutti, sono Fortunatamente riuscito a pubblicare questo post in tempo perché oggi scade la settimana del Contest. per questa settimana ho scelto uno dei borghi toscani, Anzi della Maremma Toscana che io preferisco è che può benissimo rappresentare le migliaia di Borghi che ci sono in giro per l'Italia.
Questi borghi ci contraddistinguono da molte Nazioni non solo a livello europeo ma anche a livello mondiale, ho scelto Montemerano come rappresentante essendo uno dei 23 borghi più belli d'Italia della Toscana. il borgo si trova tra Saturnia e Manciano sospeso tra le verdi vallate del Monte Amiata e il profondo blu del Mar Tirreno.
Il borgo È dificato su una Collinetta dalla quale si può avere una vista completa sulle colline maremmane Naturalmente come molti Borghi toscani ha origini medievali Infatti il castello è stato costruito attorno al 1200 della famiglia degli Aldobrandeschi e trasformarono Montemerano in la città fortificata Se passate da quelle parti Vi consiglio di visitare luoghi più caratteristici del borgo che sono piazza del Castello virgole la chiesa di San Giorgio, la chiesa della Madonna del cavalluzzo e naturalmente la cinta muraria.
Particolarità di questo Borgo che ho trovato molto interessante è che all'interno della chiesa di San Giorgio è esposta la celebre "Madonna della gattaiola" un dipinto di un artista di scuola del Sasseta,una bottega locale, è la particolarità di questa opera sta nel fatto che all'interno contiene un foro circolare. La leggenda narra che un parroco che avrebbe utilizzato la tavola cioè il dipinto come porta di un magazzino facendovi il foro per consentire il passaggio dei gatti. Gatti che troverete in giro per il borgo in larga maggioranza rispetto gli abitanti.

These villages distinguish us from many nations not only at a European level but also at a world level, I chose Montemerano as a representative being one of the 23 most beautiful Italian villages in Tuscany. the village is located between Saturnia and Manciano suspended between the green valleys of Monte Amiata and the deep blue of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
The village It is located on a small hill from which you can have a complete view of the Maremma hills Naturally like many Tuscan villages it has medieval origins In fact the castle was built around 1200 by the Aldobrandeschi family and they transformed Montemerano into the fortified city. parts I recommend you to visit the most characteristic places of the village which are piazza del Castello virgole, the church of San Giorgio, the church of the Madonna del cavalluzzo and of course the walls.
A peculiarity of this village that I found very interesting is that inside the church of San Giorgio the famous "Madonna della Gattaiola" is exhibited, a painting by an artist from the Sasseta school, a local workshop, and the peculiarity of this work lies in the fact that inside it contains a circular hole. Legend has it that a parish priest who would have used the table, that is the painting as a door to a warehouse, making a hole in it to allow the passage of cats. Cats that you will find around the village in a large majority compared to the inhabitants.
