1000 DAYS OF STEEM ||THE DIARY GAME||23 Maggio 2021||L'Abbazia di Nonantola una vera sorpresa!!
Domenica mattina sono partito alla volta di Modena perché mi ero messo d'accordo con dei miei parenti di trovarmi a casa sua per rivederci dopo bene un anno e mezzo che avevamo dovuto rimandare causa covid Tra l'altro quella domenica lì c'era anche la comunione della figlia di mio cugino e per cui era un momento per stare tutti insieme ,anche perché noi un po' più anziani ormai abbiamo completato il ciclo di vaccinazione.
Così dato che ero lì in zona mi hanno fatto scoprire un posto che veramente non conoscevo Anche se devo dire la verità che a Nonantola ero stato per lavoro un paio di volte ma non avevo mai fatto caso a questa Abbazia un luogo veramente straordinario per l'architettura ed espressioni artistiche che ci sono all'interno.

Ho potuto leggere che all'interno sono conservate le reliquie di San Silvestro I Papa e questa chiesa è stata proprio dedicata a questo Pontefice questa sarebbe un Abbazia Benedettina e qui i Benedettini arrivarono essere quasi in mille.
I was able to read that the relics of San Silvestro I Papa are kept inside and this church was dedicated to this Pontiff, this would be a Benedictine Abbey and here the Benedictines arrived in almost a thousand.
Questo posto è stato un un posto di incontro tra popoli e anche tra regnanti possiamo dire qui ad esempio si incontro Papa Gregorio VII e Matilde di Canossa.
