Unforgettable Italy: Pietrasanta - Via Giuseppe Mazzini [Eng - Ita]

The town of Pietrasanta, in the province of Lucca, is a little gem that can be visited in half a day.
A little further inland than Versilia, it is a must-see destination if you are making a holiday in Viareggio, Camaiore or Forte dei Marmi area.
Certainly it is not recommended to go there when it is very hot, but for example in these days when the temperatures have dropped a bit, it is perfectly enjoyable.
Via Giuseppe Mazzini has been decorated in different ways for years, thanks to some fancy elements hanging all over the street. Years ago there were butterflies, before umbrellas.
This year, some pretty colorful pinwheels have been hung, which twirl as soon as some current of wind arrives.
They are not only beautiful to look at by looking up: the shadows they create on the road are also pretty.
In the street there are small shops and boutiques for those looking for objects a little more refined and particular, for themselves or to make nice gifts.

Poco più entroterra rispetto alla Versilia, è una meta assolutamente da vedere se si sta facendo una vacanza nella zona di Viareggio, Camaiore o Forte dei Marmi.
Certamente non è indicato andarci quando fa molto caldo, ma ad esempio in questi giorni in cui si sono abbassate le temperature, è perfettamente godibile.
Via Giuseppe Mazzini viene da anni decorata in modi diversi, grazie a degli sfiziosi elementi appesi per tutta la strada. Anni fa c'erano delle farfalle, prima ancora degli ombrellini.
Quest'anno sono state appese delle graziose girandole colorate, che volteggiano non appena arriva qualche corrente di vento.
Non sono belle soltanto da guardare alzando gli occhi: sono una chicca anche le ombre che si creano sulla strada.
Nella via si trovano negozietti e boutique per chi cerca oggetti un pochino più ricercati e particolari, per sé o per fare dei bei regali.

Grazie per questa informazione e interessante la decorazione con le girandole. L’Italia è piena di posti meravigliosi. Come hai scritto credo proprio che durante i giorni caldi in quel luogo lì si fatichi proprio ad andare in giro.
Si ci sono davvero un sacco di posti meno noti ma bellissimi!
