CITYSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #054 - Pitigliano

This picture was made with my smartphone, so unfortunatelly it is a bit blurry. Still, I want to share this picture with you because this city is really magic: it's Pitigliano, an old city in Tuscany, Italy, located on a overhanging hill and surrounded by walls, its appearance is absolutely ancient and medieval.
Last summer, since I was scared of Covid, I have been only around my region, Tuscany, and I was able to go to areas that, absurdly, I had not yet visited. Yet they were there, right nearby. It is absurd how much you can leave out the wonders that are just a stone's throw from home!

Questa foto è stata fatta con il mio cellulare e quindi sfortunatamente è poco nitida. Mi fa comunque piacere condividerla perché il soggetto è davvero magico: si tratta di Pitigliano, una vecchissima cittadina nel sul della Toscana, situata su un'altura a strapiombo e circondata da mura. Il suo aspetto è ancora quello antico e medievale con cui è nata.
La scorsa estate, avendo paura del covid, non mi sono voluto allontanare dalla Toscana ma mi sono comunque concesso qualche gita fuori porto; così sono potuto andare in zone che, per assurdo, non avevo ancora visitato. Eppure erano lì, proprio nelle vicinanze. E' assurdo quanto si possano tralasciare le meraviglie che si trovano proprio a due passi da casa!
