Il punto della situazione: necessità aguzza l'ingegno/The bottom line: necessity is the mother of invention

Cari amici, per amore di correttezza verso la comunità trovo giusto pubblicare il punto della situazione della mia coppia e quanto a prelievi di quanto ricevuto. Partendo da questi ultimi, devo attendere giugno per un prelivo corposo, avendo a inizio mese già proceduto. Avendoci un'attività aperta, per quanto del più piccolo calibro permesso nel mio paese (e dovendo portare in dichiarazione dei redditi tutto quel che guadagno sia online che offline, ovviamente compresi i prelievi da qui), si fa desiderabile non lasciare azzerate le scritture contabili di questo o quel mese, anche perchè gli organi governativi di riferimento vedono la regolarità delle entrate. Considerato che un buon numero di compagni di sventura nel mio paese aprono una VAT del mio stesso tipo a soli fini pensionistici (e mettendomi nei loro panni, posso affermare che non hanno certo tutti i torti, specie considerate le condizioni in cui attualmente versa il paese a causa di quest'ultimo discutibilissimo disgoverno), mantenendo allora una vera e propria tabula rasa al posto delle scritture contabili. La conseguenza? La previdenza locale s'inalbera e finisce per negargli la pensione (che già s'è fatta poco accessibile per i lavoratori regolari, che senza mettere di mezzo un avvocato specializzato in materia previdenziaria, la pensione non la vedono, dato che qui non è affatto automatica come in Italia, ma vanno azionati organi amministrativi e nel peggiore dei casi, giudiziari) allegando che difatti il loro lavoro in proprio era stato fittizio. Avendoci davanti come minimo altri 11 anni quanto a obbligo di mantenere aperta la mia persona giuridica (ma questi 11 possono anche diventare 16 con la riforma previdenziaria del 2027, che già gli economisti di punta preannunciano da anni a botta di strombazzamenti nel web) a fini pensionistici, a scanso di comunque chiuderla, ma unicamente per convertirla in autonomia regolarizzata senza VAT (il topico aprirebbe un altro discorso, ma non è questa ancora la sede adatta, se no faccio notte🤣) e allora comunque non cambierebbe da questo punto di vista, è mia precipua premura evitare quanto più possibile mesi di scritture contabili a tabula rasa. Quindi, se vedete che non ho ancora toccato niente, lo si deve a questa necessità. Ma ovviamente vanno affrontate le spese che ci toccano e giugno è vicino. Speriamo entro il mese riuscire a prenotare l'ecodoppler cardiaco di mio marito, che comunque ha dovuto attendere a causa della pessima influenza che sta circolando a dispetto dei vaccini antinfluenzali (per me il vaccino ha funzionato alla grande, per lui no perchè secondo i dottori c'era già qualche schifezza annidata e il vaccino l'ha svegliata). S'è sorbito tre iniezioni al pronto soccorso (dato che l'amoxicillina che stava prendendo non sortiva alcun effetto) e poi un'intera confezione di sciroppo cortisonico (niente da fare: la schifezza in circolo somiglia al covid e senza cortisonici non è vero che si migliora) che la direttrice della sezione musicale della mia chiesa di appartenenza gli aveva comprato. Nel frattempo, il cardiologo propende fortemente per l'origine neurologica della sintomatologia, sia pur trattandosi di un'alterazione fisica che senza sintomi non sarebbe pericolosa. Quindi mio marito è passato per visita neurologica e ha ricevuto quest'altra prescrizione:

All'inizio, meglio evitare troppe uscite con questo farmaco, che è molto forte. La neurologa ha detto che gli effetti avversi (sonnolenza, rallentamento dei riflessi e simili disturbi) sono temporanei e a giorni dovrebbero scomparire. Allora potrà prenotare il doppler. Gli servirà poi un altro farmaco, stavolta topico per le allergie. Siamo entrambi in attesa di una visita dermatologica (dato che le mie brave allergie cutanee non me le faccio mancare neppure io🤣). Nel suo caso, per chiedere alla nostra dermatologa di sostituirgli il farmaco, che è troppo caro. Ma è di uso frequente ed è quello che vedete in questo link:

Potete vedere il prezzo assurdo. A parità di costo della vita, è come se vi toccasse pagare a occhio e croce 38 euro per una cremina per le allergie. Spesso qui si fa così: quando riceviamo una prescrizione, se le farmacie propongono prezzi vergognosamente alti, si torna dal medico e si chiede un sostituto più a buon mercato del farmaco incriminato. È capitato anche a me da poco con un integratore multivitaminico del gruppo B a dosaggi da cavallo prescrittomi dalla mia ginecologa. Comunque, niente paura: a giugno procedo con il prelievo, si prenoterà il doppler di mio marito, si comprerà il sostituto del suo farmaco antiallergico e a luglio pagherò la tassa e la visita oculistica per il rinnovo della patente. Figuratevi che senza patente aggiornata, perfino la mia attività foriera di VAT finirebbe in forse. Per gestire le questioni amministratibe e tributarie siamo obbligati a un accesso unico a un sito governativo che per mantenere i nostri account operativi ha bisogno di incrociare dati e unicamente con l'organo centrale che gestisce la motorizzazione oppure con il tribunale regionale elettorale (ma in quest'ultimo caso soltanto chi è cittadino, meglio ancora se nativo del posto e quindi in grado di votare, ha i dati biometrici registrati: i residenti regolari non nativi possiamo contare più che altro sulla motorizzazione, invece, quindi la patente in regola è davvero condicio sine qua non per poter continuare a lavorare e in ultima istanza non rischiare la perdita del visto, il che comporterebbe il dover lasciare il paese in fretta e furia in 90 giorni con quanto ne consegue: abbandono dell'unico tetto sulla testa che poi andrà pure dichiarato nel paese di destinazione (e sul quale si debbono pagare salate tasse, tipo l'IVIE da quadro RW), abbandono di conti bancari che non si possono chiudere a causa di investimenti che si possono riscattare solo alla data di scadenza con conseguente blocco e anche lì, obbligo di dichiarazione di somme inaccessibili e tasse e l'elenco è lungo). Quindi, in parole povere: il rinnovo patente s'ha da fare. Ma non temete: la cifra ricevuta deve coprire sia il mio rinnovo patente che il doppler di mio marito.
Si, lo so, è un periodo duro, direte. Capita. Questi periodi capitano. Infatti, come se non bastasse, lunedì ho dovuto portare in riparazione l'unico cellulare di mio marito, che ne ha bisogno come il pane per lavorare online. Era purtroppo caduto a faccia in giù a causa di un incidente domestico. Purtroppo sul soffitto della cucina stava circolando un insetto terribilmente pericoloso, molto comune da queste parti, occhio, non aprite il link se deboli di cuore:

È una sorta di scorpione, che muovendosi velocemente, bisogna agire in fretta. Era un esemplare adulto gigantesco, quello che c'era entrato in cucina e mio marito, nell'afferrare rapidamente una bomboletta di veleno spray prima che l'insetto si annidasse chissà dove in casa (il morso di questa bestia non uccide, ma causa dolori da vedere tutte le stelle del cielo e comporta lunghissimi ricoveri ospedalieri con annessi e connessi), aveva fatto cadere il cellulare che aveva purtroppo posato sullo stesso davanzale poco prima.
Nel frattempo, indovinate? Ovviamente non siamo ingenui a tal punto da credere che i nostri elettrodomestici durino eternamente. Quest'anno a gennaio abbiamo dovuto fare riparare il frigo principale, che ha già più di sette anni (è stata comunque solo la sostituzione di un pezzo). L'anno scorso, la lavatrice, vecchia quanto il frigo principale, ha subito ben tre revisioni e riparazioni perchè non faceva che bruciare bobine e finiva per funzionare soltanto più nei passaggi del risciacquo e centrifuga. Finora siamo riusciti a evitare di far sostituire la scheda madre, la principale responsabile del mal contatto tra i circuiti. Ma ecco che l'altro ieri ha ripreso a fare le bizze. Eh, no. Stavolta, proprio no. A casa di una mia ex alunna, di lavatrici non ne usano. Qui si lava ancora a mano, quando di denari per sostituire un elettrodomestico non ce n'è o per altre ragioni non li si può spendere a questi fini. La famiglia della mia ex alunna era pure rimasta senza frigo per tre mesi (e dato che è uso piovere sul bagnato, il loro frigo aveva ben pensato di rompersi giusto nei mesi estivi, dunque quando teoricamente ce n'è più bisogno, ma il papà non avrebbe avuto fondi per ricomprarlo se non nell'autunno successivo). Considerate che sempre a parità di costo della vita e stipendi, mentre voi in Italia potete cavarvela con una lavatrice da 300 euro a fronte di uno stipendio standard di 1200, da noi si spende minimo 1500 a fronte di uno stipendio di 1412 (in valuta locale). Già, tutto quel che ha a che vedere con la tecnologia, nei big del Mercosur (in Argentina è pure peggio di così) costa quattro o cinque volte tanto che da voi. Noi siamo fortunati, che quantomeno abbiamo una lavatrice che qualcosa fa. Onde evitare di comprare una scheda madre nuova, che costa una fucilata (men che meno un'altra lavatrice: impensabile quest'anno), ecco qui la trovata geniale🤣:

Necessità aguzza l'ingegno, si dice: quindi mio marito ha sistemato il lavandino della veranda sul retro con un tubo di gomma che arriva fin dentro alla macchina e così si può riempire d'acqua la lavatrice (da noi lo standard è l'apertura superiore) anzichè la fatica di buttarcela dentro a secchiate, la qual cosa fa sprecare intere mezz'ore), aggiungere detersivo, cloro quando serve e far partire risciacquo e centrifuga. Magari ripetendo l'operazione per un risciacquo più appropriato e via. Per lo meno in un periodo come questo, che le spese dei prossimi mesi saranno troppe. Potrei infatti doverci infilare pure il mio, di doppler, privatamente, perchè purtroppo quel lunedì in cui avrebbe dovuto aver luogo nel settore della sanità pubblica è saltato (a causa della struttura che aveva deciso che il numero massimo di pazienti da servire non dovesse superare le 30 unità, rispedendo in dietro i malati in sovrannumero e occhio, non ero arrivata in ritardo, ma con ben 20 minuti di anticipo rispetto all'orario segnalato nella scheda). La lavatrice dunque aspetta🤣. Anzi, siamo pure messi meglio che a casa della mia ex alunna e non preoccupatevi, ce la faremo con quanto già ricevuto.

Dear friends, for the sake of fairness towards the community, I find it only fair to publish the situation of my couple and about the amount I received. Starting with the latter, I have to wait until June for an important withdrawal, having already proceeded with one from my earnings at the beginning of the month. Having an open business, albeit of the smallest size allowed in my country (and having to bring in my accounting records everything I earn both online and offline, obviously including withdrawals from here), it is desirable not to leave this or that month's accounting entries blank, not least reason because the relevant government bodies see the regularity frequency of the receipts. Considering that a good number of companions of misfortune in my country open a VAT of the same type as mine for pension purposes only (and putting myself in their shoes, I can say that they have a point, especially considering the conditions the country is currently in due to this latest questionable awful government), then keeping a true clean slate in place of the accounting entries. The consequence? The local Social Security authorities get angry and end up denying them their pensions (which have already become excessively bureaucratic for regular workers, who, without a lawyer specialised in Social Security matters, do not see their pensions, since here they are not at all automatic as in Italy, but have to go through administrative bodies and, in the worst cases, through the courts), claiming that their own work was fictitious. Having at least another 11 years ahead in terms of the obligation to keep my legal entity open if I want a public pension (but these 11 may even become 16 with the Social Security reform of 2027, which the leading economists have already been spreading on the web along these last years), so for pension purposes, to avoid closing it anyway, but in this latter case only to convert it into a regularised freelancing no VAT (this topic would open up another discussion, but in such a case I'll make night🤣) and then in any case it would not change from this point of view, it is my main concern to avoid as much as possible months of clean slate accounting entries. So if you see that I have not yet withdrawn, it is due to this necessity. But of course, my couple have to deal with our expenses and June is too near. Hopefully within the month I'll be able to book my husband's cardiac ultrasound, which has had to wait because of the terrible 'flu that's been circulating in spite of the 'flu vaccines (the vaccine worked great for me, but not for him, because according to the doctors, there was already some nasty bacteria lurking and the vaccine woke it up). He endured three injections in the emergency room (as the Amoxicillin he was taking had no effect) and then a whole packet of Cortisone syrup (no way: the crap bacteria looks like covid and without Cortisone you don't get better) that the director of the music section of my church bought for him. In the meantime, the cardiologist strongly favours a neurological origin of his symptomatology, even though it is a physical alteration that without symptoms would not be dangerous. So my husband went for a neurological examination and received this other prescription:

At the beginning, it's better to avoid too many outings while taking this drug, which is very strong. The neurologist said that the adverse effects (drowsiness, slowed reflexes and similar complaints) are temporary and should disappear in a few days. Then he will be able to book the doppler. He will then need another medication, this time topical for allergies. We are both waiting for a dermatological examination (as I don't miss my good skin allergies either🤣). In his case, to ask our dermatologist to replace his medication, which is too expensive. But it should be frequently used and is what you see in this link:

You can see the absurd price. For the same cost of living, it is as if you had to pay a mere EUR 38 for an allergy cream. This is often how it is done here: when we receive a prescription, if the drugstores offer shamefully high prices, we go back to the doctor and ask for a cheaper substitute for the prescribed drug. It also happened to me recently with a multivitamin B-group supplement at horse doses prescribed by my gynaecologist. Anyway, no worries: in June I will proceed with the withdrawal, my husband's doppler will be booked, the replacement for his anti-allergy drug will be bought, and in July I will pay the tax and the eye examination for the driving licence renewal. Imagine that without an up-to-date driving licence, even my VAT business would be jeopardised. To handle administrative and tax matters, we are obliged to have a single access to a governmental site, which in order to keep our accounts properly working, it needs to cross-reference data and only with the central body that manages the DMV or with the regional electoral court (but in the latter case, only those who are citizens, better still if native and therefore fully able to vote, have their biometric data registered: regular non-native residents can rely mostly on the DMV, on the other hand, so a driving licence in order is really compulsory to be able to continue working and ultimately not risk losing VISA, which would entail having to leave the country in a hurry within only 90 days with all that entails: abandonment of the only roof over one's head which would then also have to be declared (and huge taxes must be paid too) in the country of destination, abandonment of bank accounts that cannot be closed due to investments that can only be redeemed on the timeline date, resulting in a freezed account and even there, obligation to declare and pay taxes even on inaccessible sums and the list of mishaps is long). So, in a nutshell: licence renewal is a must have. But fear not: the amount received must cover both my licence renewal and my husband's doppler.
Yes, I know, it's a tough time, you'll say. It happens. These periods do happen. In fact, to make matters worse, on Monday I had to take my husband's only mobile phone, which he strongly needs to work online, in for repairs/maintenance. It had unfortunately fallen face down due to a domestic accident. Unfortunately, a terribly dangerous insect was circulating on the kitchen ceiling, very common in these parts, watch out, don't open the link if faint-hearted:

It is a kind of scorpion, which moves fast, so you have to act fast. It was a gigantic adult specimen, the one that had entered the kitchen and my husband, in quickly grabbing a can of poison spray before the insect lurked who knows where in the house (the bite of this beast does not kill, but causes awful pains and results in very long hospital stays with all the consequences), had dropped the mobile phone that he had unfortunately placed on the same windowsill of the can.
Meanwhile, guess what? Obviously we are not naive enough to believe that our appliances last forever. This year in January, we had to have the main fridge, which is already more than seven years old, repaired (it was only a part replacement, an easy one, anyway). Last year, the washing machine, which is just as old as the main fridge, underwent three overhauls and repairs because it kept burning out coils and only ended up running more in the rinse and spin cycle. So far we have managed to avoid having the motherboard, the main culprit of the bad contact between the circuits, replaced. But then, the day before yesterday, it started acting up again. Oh, no. Not this time. At my former pupil's house, they don't use washing machines. Here, people still wash by hand, when there is no money to replace an appliance, or for other reasons they can't spend it on it. My former pupil's family was also left without a fridge for three months (and since it rains and it pours, their fridge had decided to break down just during the Summer months, thus when theoretically it is most needed, but the father family would not have had the funds to purchase a new fridge until the following Autumn). Consider that always with the same cost of living and salaries, while you in Italy can get by with a 300 euro washing machine considering a standard salary of 1200, here you spend at least 1500 considering a salary of 1412 (in local currency). Yes, everything that has to do with technology, in the big of the Mercosur (in Argentina it is even worse than that) costs four or five times as much as in the European countries and in the USA. We are lucky, in any way, that at least we have a washing machine that does something. In order to avoid buying a new motherboard (let alone another washing machine: unthinkable this year), which costs a fortune, here is the genius🤣:

Necessity is the mother of invention, it's said: so my husband fixed the sink on the back porch with a rubber hose that goes all the way into the washing machine and so we can fill it with water instead of the hassle of throwing buckets of water in, which wastes whole half hours), add detergent, chlorine when needed, and start the rinse and spin cycle. Perhaps repeat the operation for a more appropriate rinse and go. At least at a time like this, that the expenses in the coming months will be too much. In fact, I might have to do my own doppler, privately, because unfortunately that Monday when it was supposed to take place in the public health sector was cancelled (due to the facility deciding that the maximum number of patients to be served should not exceed 30, thus sending back the overflow patients, and mind you, I had not arrived late, but a good 20 minutes earlier than the time indicated on the card). The washing machine therefore waits🤣. In fact, we are even better off than at my former pupil's house and don't worry, we can do with what we have received.
