Il punto della situazione: atto terzo/The bottom line: third act

Cari amici, comunico che finalmente mio marito è riuscito a sottoporsi all'ecodoppler cardiaco.

Quella che vedete è la copertina che la clinica partner della nostra usa per i risultati degli esami. Non ho fotografato le pagine interne perchè sono davvero troppe e quindi ho preferito fare riferimento alla sola copertina.
In ogni caso, il doppler è risultato negativo, grazie a Dio. Mio marito dovrà comunque farlo vedere al suo cardiologo, che già propendeva per un disturbo più neurologico che cardiaco, in quanto ai sintomi. Ci sarebbe per la verità un ulteriore esame cardiaco per rilevare eventuali ateromi alle coronarie, ma va prescritto dal cardiologo se ritiene che è il caso. Santo cielo, mio marito ha sempre avuto colesterolo e trigliceridi bassi. E tiene sotto controllo l'ipertensione con un farmaco manipolato (che infatti costa un botto, tra i 50 e i 70 reais, valore che oscilla forse a seconda della provenienza dei componenti e in ogni caso venti volte rispetto ai comunissimi betabloccanti che oramai si possono ottenere nelle farmacie comuni per pochi spicci, ma senza gli effetti avversi di questi ultimi). I componenti del suo farmaco manipolato:

Lisinopril anzichè il comunissimo Enalapril. Più Indapamida, mai vista nelle confezioni comuni farmaceutiche. È un farmaco a uso continuo e deve prenderlo a tempo indeterminato. Ma funziona alla grande ed è ottimamente tollerato. Sarà quindi necessario assicurarci che potrà ottenerlo anche se un giorno dovessimo levare le tende dal nostro attuale paese.

Dear friends, I would like to inform you that my husband was finally able to undergo the cardiac doppler ultrasound.

What you see is the cover that the partner of our clinic uses for its tests results. I haven't photographed the inside pages because there are really too many of them, so I preferred to refer to the cover alone.
In any way, the ultrasound came out negative, thanks God. My husband will still need to show it to his cardiologist, who was already leaning towards a neurological disorder rather than a cardiac one, as far as the symptoms are concerned. There would actually be a further cardiac examination to detect any atheromas in the coronary arteries, but that should be prescribed by the cardiologist if he feels it's the case. My goodness, my husband has always had low cholesterol and low triglycerides. And he keeps his hypertension under control with a manipulated drug (which in fact costs a lot, between 50 and 70 reais, a value that fluctuates perhaps depending on the origin of the components and in any case twenty times more than the very common beta-blockers that can now be obtained in ordinary pharmacies for a few pennies, but without the adverse effects of the latter). The components of his manipulated drug:

Lisinopril instead of the very common Enalapril. Plus Indapamida, never seen in common pharmaceutical packaging. It is a continuous-use drug and must be taken indefinitely. But it works great and is very well tolerated. It will therefore be necessary to make sure that he can get it even if one day we have to leave our present country.
