📣 ✨ UNFORGETTABLE TRIP ✨ 📣 WEEK / Visit Dalia Bridge and Teesta Barrage Lalmonirhat district of Bangladesh

Assalamu Alaikum, Hello everyone. how are you all Alhamdulillah I am fine.

My home is in Lalmonirhat district of northern part of Bangladesh. There is a big river in our northern region. The name of that river is Teesta river. This river Teesta has many branches. One of them is located in our area. There is a bridge over that branch. The name of that bridge is Dalia Bridge. Every year during this winter many visitors visit our Dahlia Bridge. All areas of Bangladesh have some sightseeing places. It is one of them in our area.

Dalia Bridge is located five to six kilometers from our house. My mother-in-law's house is over there at Dahlia Bridge. I visit there sometimes. Dahlia Bridge has many canals in between. The canal through which water is sent to India. The name of the place is Dahlia Bridge. But the river that flows through it is the river Teesta. Every year the Teesta river dries up in winter but fills up during the monsoons. In winter, when the water in the rivers of India dries up. Then they took the water of Teesta river from our country to irrigate the land. But there is a problem when Teesta river gets full during monsoon. Then India no longer takes water into their country.

Every year many people from different parts of Bangladesh visit Teesta Barrage. Every year many people come here for bonfire. Dalia Bridge and Teesta Barrage authorities have built a picnic spot here. So that visitors can visit here and stay there Here is the picnic spot that has been created. It is spread over a large area. We also visit there sometimes with my friends. It is very nice to go there. The great river is bridged over it. There is no river bigger than the Teesta in our northern region. But there are many big rivers in other parts of Bangladesh. Padma, Meghna and Yamuna are among the three largest rivers of Bangladesh.
