RE: CRYPTO - Kit di Sopravvivenza #10 🧰 / - CRYPTO - Survival Kit. #10 🧰 [MULTILANGUAGE]

You're right, absolute anonymity has never really existed and fees often don’t help.
But I think the real strength of crypto lies elsewhere: I can send money without going through a bank or any intermediary.
Of course, as long as shops don’t accept it directly, converting to fiat is still necessary… but the principle of freedom behind it is what makes the difference.

Sort:

We could say it's sending without an intermediar but I doubt that. I need one and am not even allowed or able to send tona wallet which isn't approved first.
Since I, my wallets are checked/vontrolled by the government, Central bank and taxes and the same counts for Bitvavo, Binance (forbidden), and so on the benefits are gone since lost is lost. A very good reason for mny not to use it.

The CEXs who follow MICA ask for information on the wallets we receive funds from. It happened to me with Bitvavo, and unfortunately, I confirmed my decentralized wallet, so now it's easy to trace who owns it. It's really getting more complicated.

It was already years ago. I remember it started here on Steemit (for certain countries) next it was on other platforms and those helping to buy/exchange gave up because of the NYK.

I assume that it's Europe first to proof something since the digital valuta didn't work in Nigeria.
