So, this building store is a hereditary business from the family. So it started at that time, during my grandfather's time, in 1968. My grandfather and uncle at that time pioneered a shop. The shop used to be called "Arafah Shop", not "New Business", like now. So this building store used to sell wood. Taking wood from Arasulo village, sending it to Semirah, still in the form of logs. The logs were large pieces of wood, around 30 cm, 40 cm in diameter, like that. In 1980, it began to fade. Because logging permits at that time were increasingly difficult. This was made worse by the large number of ships owned by my grandfather at that time, sinking one by one. So in the past there were 5 ships with a capacity of 50-100 tons, there were five of them, one by one, finally only one fleet remained. Finally, it affected the Tesflo store at that time, my grandfather moved to Banda Aceh, while this store was continued by my uncle, until around 1985. After that, it was transferred to my father. Well, in 1986, the name "Usaha Baru" was born. In 2002, everything was managed by my father. Well, at this time, we are entering a transition period from my father's management to my brother's, like that. The first challenge for the long term is facing increasingly tight competition. So in North Aceh, the growth of new building store entrepreneurs is very fast, there are so many of them.

And the second challenge is how my brother personally can develop this building shop to be better, to be more advanced than before. For the prospects of building shops around North Aceh, in my opinion the prospects are very bright. Because Lhokseumawe is a metropolitan city, and in the era of Lhokseumawe's current leadership, development around Lhokseumawe is very high. Automatically, with the increasing number of development programs from the current city leader, the demand for building materials is getting higher. Responding to the sustainability of the company, in my opinion it depends on the previous successor, namely the old man. How our parents educate us, how important it is to be an entrepreneur, to be able to provide jobs to others.

The successor must not feel ashamed, not feel inferior, and not think that continuing a hereditary business is an easy job. That is a big mistake. Because in my opinion, continuing a family business is both easy and difficult.

The easy thing is that we have a very great mentor. Who is that? Our parents.

They teach us very sincerely, very proudly so that we can continue their business.

And the hard thing is that we have to learn from the beginning, from upstream to downstream, studying the dynamics, problems, and systematics of business in our family, like that.
