It will be because I was born in such places, it will be because I am used to it, it will be because it reminds me a lot of childhood, I don't know, so, in this post, today, I would like to share this place, with an experiment, using not only the sense of sight that will be used to look at the photographs that will document this setting.

First of all, giving a context to the representations, I must say that where I live, for example, there are no mountains that are nearby here. We are in the Piedmont countryside, south of Turin and, from my point of view, this mix is ​​pleasant. If we then add the tranquility of this small, purely rural village, it is ideal for relaxing breaks, especially for those who live in large cities. The aspect that I least like and which is very similar to where I live is that in summer it is hot and very humid. The relief, however, is given by the Alps that surround this strip of countryside; when the coolness comes, you feel it!

Returning to the experiment, I thought of adding a descriptive caption to the photographs but trying to recall, arouse, activate some other sense together with the sight, apt to look at the photo.

I think it is a more interactive way to go in a certain sense into the memory of the moments I lived in this place. Often our experiences are registered not only by a sense but by the union of several senses that recall not only the moment but also the emotions, the sensations experienced together. It is the synergy, in my opinion with nature itself, we are connected, everything is connected and makes us part of the stupendous moments that make up our life.

Scatto di mia proprietà - Il silenzio post-prandiale

Sarà perché sono nato in posti così, sarà perché ci sono abituato, sarà perché mi ricorda molto l'infanzia ma qui e oggi vorrei condividere questo luogo, con un esperimento, usando non solo il senso della vista che servirà per guardare le fotografie che documenteranno questo setting.

Innanzitutto, dando un contesto alle rappresentazioni, devo dire che dove vivo io ad esempio mancano le montagne che invece qui sono vicine. Siamo nella campagna piemontese, a sud di Torino e, dal mio punto di vista, questo mix è piacevole. Se poi aggiungiamo la tranquillità di questo piccolo paesino prettamente rurale è l'ideale per pause di relax soprattutto per chi vive in grandi città. L'aspetto che meno mi piace e che è molto simile a dove abito io è che d'estate fa caldo ed è molto umido. Il sollievo però lo danno le Alpi che "abbracciano" questo lembo di campagna; quando arriva il fresco, si sente!

Tornando all'esperimento ho pensato di aggiungere una didascalia descrittiva alle fotografie ma cercando di richiamare, suscitare, di attivare qualche altro senso insieme alla vista, atta a guardare la foto.

Credo sia un modo più interattivo per entrare in un certo senso nel ricordo dei momenti che ho vissuto in questo luogo. Spesso le nostre esperienze vengono registrate non solo da un senso ma dall'unione di più sensi che richiamano non solo il momento ma anche le emozioni, le sensazioni provate insieme. È la sinergia, a mio avviso con la natura stessa, siamo connessi, tutto è connesso e ci rende parte di splendidi attimi che compongono la nostra vita.
