On the national news there is often talk of millions and millions of Italian tourists on holiday, traffic from red dot to black dot, and so on, yesterday was the last Sunday in July, on paper, the beach where I rented an umbrella had to be full of tourists, on the contrary have you noticed a large number of closed umbrellas? It was about half past 10, at the time of this shot, of course, someone, the latecomers, the young people and other people still would have arrived in the following hours, but a season worthy of being called such would have had, at the time of my photography, many more umbrellas sold, and if you don't fill up on the weekends in July, when do you, on a Wednesday at the end of September??

I can't stand the bullshit, the news artfully inflated to influence public opinion, that you want to convey the idea that everything is going well, that the worst is over, that things are finally proceeding in the right direction? I'm fine with that, if you want to give a breath of optimism, after all the rubbish and depression for all the possible and imaginable calamities that have spread and are still spreading (covid, war, drought, scorching heat, environmental disasters, etc. etc...), but as they were exaggerated and heavy before, I know in the same way now, on this specific topic, and I can assure you that the problems are certainly not limited to the seaside area of ​​my shots, but various economic operators to whom I asked the question about how the season was going they confirmed to me that it is not as good a year as they are portraying it, I also have another parameter, this time independent of category discontent or anything else, two paid parking lots, near my house, which serve as support to the car parks in the maritime area, complete with shuttle buses to the hotels, well they are semi-desert, unlike even simply last year, an unequivocal synonym that there are not so many people...

Vi piace la spiaggia di Rimini? Bella vero? A livello di spiaggia, soprattutto come estensione lineare, non temiamo certamente confronti, in quanto si estende, a seconda della zona, per decine e decine di metri (arriva in alcuni punti a toccare una larghezza massima di ben 200 metri), nel punto dove mi trovavo ieri mattina era bella larga, clima gradevole, ideale per stare al mare, insomma tutto sembrava ok, ma una riflessione mi è scattata automatica in testa, una considerazione poco simpatica, ma molto reale e veritiera...

Sui TG nazionali si parla spesso di milioni e milioni di turisti italiani in vacanza, traffico da bollino rosso a bollino nero, e via discorrendo, ieri era l'ultima domenica di luglio, sulla carta, la spiaggia in cui ho noleggiato l'ombrellone doveva essere piena di turisti, al contrario avete fatto caso a gran numero di ombrelloni chiusi? Erano le 10 e mezza circa, al momento di questo scatto, certo, qualcuno, i ritardatari, i giovani e altre persone ancora sarebbero arrivate nelle ore successive, ma una stagione degna di essere chiamata tale avrebbe avuto, all'orario della mia fotografia, molti più ombrelloni venduti, e se non fai il pienone nei fine settimana di luglio, quando lo fai, il mercoledì di fine settembre??

Non sopporto le prese per il culo, le notizie gonfiate ad arte per condizionare l'opinione pubblica, che si voglia trasmettere l'idea che tutto sta andando bene, che il peggio è passato, che le cose stanno procedendo finalmente per il verso giusto? Mi può anche star bene, che si voglia dare una ventata di ottimismo, dopo tutta la spazzatura e la depressione per tutte le calamità possibili e immaginabili che hanno diffuso e che ancora stanno diffondendo (covid, guerra, siccità, caldo rovente, disastri ambientali, ecc. ecc...), ma come erano esagerati e pesanti prima, lo so nella stessa maniera adesso, su questo specifico argomento, e vi posso garantire che i problemi non sono certamente limitati alla zona balneare dei miei scatti, ma diversi operatori economici ai quali ho rivolto la domanda su come stesse andando la stagione mi hanno confermato che non è un'annata bella come la stanno dipingendo, ho pure un altro parametro, questa volta indipendente da malumori di categoria o altro, due parcheggi a pagamento, vicino a casa mia, che servono di supporto ai parcheggi della zona marittima, con tanto di bus navetta con gli alberghi, ebbene sono semi-deserti, a differenza anche semplicemente dell'anno scorso, sinonimo inequivocabile che di gente non ce n'è tanta...
