Today was a rather particular day, which was anticipated by a voice message, which arrived in the late afternoon of yesterday, Sunday, was one of the owners of the place where we go to clean on Monday morning, he communicated to us to stay home, because work had been scarce all weekend and that he would have the wait staff clean the place...

I was not very happy with this fact, the reason is relatively simple, as first of all it is less money that enters our house, but also for a purely work matter, in the sense that I have known for some time that the staff in that place is oversized for the work they do, i.e. for the customers they say they have had (in the event that we often know the weekend movement), apart from rare cases, there are no turnouts such as to justify all the people who, in turn, rotate inside that place, so, in my humble opinion (I guarantee you that it is not to bring water to our mill), a couple of people less, less salaries to be paid, shifts that are a moment more stringent and slightly heavier, and that's it...

I have direct testimony of 2 other premises, one with work quite similar to the one in question, the other clearly superior, in terms of workload, but clearly really, well, the first of the 2 has, approximately, 6-7 fewer people, while the 2nd, which has an almost triple amount of work compared to the one in question, does not manage to have twice as many employees, so these are all considerations that lead me to the hypotheses I have expressed, moreover, there are not even personnel problems , because people constantly come and go in the room that I clean, many are fired (or leave of their own free will), and many are rehired, it would be enough to sit down, look into each other's eyes, after having eliminated, in the most painless way possible, a couple of people, we should go ahead with the remaining personnel, at the end of the months they would certainly have a more streamlined situation to manage...

Will it be the first time, will there be others, sporadic, or is it the beginning of the end of our working relationship with that restaurant?

Quella odierna è stata una giornata un po' particolare, che è stata anticipata da un messaggio vocale, giunto nel tardo pomeriggio della giornata di ieri, domenica, era uno dei titolari del locale in cui andiamo a fare le pulizie del lunedì mattina, ci comunicava di rimanere a casa, perché il lavoro era stato scarso per tutto il week-end e che avrebbe fatto pulire il locale al personale di sala...

Non ci sono rimasto molto bene a questo fatto, il motivo è relativamente semplice, in quanto innanzitutto sono soldi in meno che entrano in casa nostra, ma anche per una questione prettamente lavorativa, nel senso che da tempo noto che il personale in quel locale è sovradimensionato per il lavoro che fanno, cioè per i clienti che dicono di aver avuto (nell'eventualità noi spesso conosciamo il movimento del fine settimana), a parte rari casi, non ci sono affluenze tali da giustificare tutte le persone che, a turno, ruotano dentro a quel locale, per cui, a mio modesto avviso (vi garantisco che non è per portare l'acqua al nostro mulino), un paio di persone in meno, di stipendi in meno da erogare, turni un attimo più stringenti e leggermente più pesanti, e il gioco è fatto...

Ho testimonianza diretta di altri 2 locali, uno con lavoro abbastanza simile a quello in questione, l'altro nettamente superiore, a mole di lavoro, ma nettamente davvero, bene, il primo dei 2 ha, circa, 6-7 persone in meno, mentre il 2°, che ha una mole di lavoro quasi tripla rispetto a questo in esame, non arriva ad avere il doppio di addetti, per cui sono tutte considerazioni che mi portano alle ipotesi che ho espresso, oltretutto non ci sono nemmeno problemi di personale, perché le persone costantemente vanno e vengono nel locale che pulisco, tanti ne licenziano (o vanno via di loro spontanea volontà), e tanti ne vengono riassunti, basterebbe mettersi a tavolino, guardarsi negli occhi, dopo aver eliminato, in maniera il più indolore possibile, un paio di persone, si dovrebbe andare avanti con il personale rimasto, alla fine dei mesi avrebbero una situazione certamente più snella da gestire...

Sarà la prima volta, ce ne saranno altre, sporadiche, oppure è l'inizio della fine del nostro rapporto di lavoro con quel locale?
