I actually take the elevator, I go up to the 4th floor, or rather, I hope that I manage to go up to the 4th floor, the maneuver succeeds, with its now characteristic slowness it reaches the 4th floor, I breathe a nice sigh of relief and go out with everything needed for cleaning the staircase, in fact, I always use the lift to move the bucket and tools from one floor to another, until I reach the 1st floor, I repeatedly hear the activation of the door call mechanism elevator on another floor, but I don't pay much attention to it, after all I had reached the 1st floor, so I would have done the remaining flight of stairs on foot, without using the elevator...

A girl takes the elevator after me, I greet her cordially and don't pay much attention to its operation, until I repeatedly hear a continuous noise, which is why I look towards the source of the noise itself...

The elevator was no longer on the ground floor, where I was at that moment, but I heard noises around, I went up a couple of floors and someone was locked inside the elevator itself, it was between the 1st and 2nd floor, on the ground floor I had sensed that there was something wrong because the doors had malfunctioned, a noise that had nothing to do with what was happening a few meters above, I tried to reassure the occupant of the room elevator, but by pure chance, a few minutes after this lady remained locked inside the elevator, I hear the operation of the elevator itself again, which goes down to the ground floor, the lady comes out, in good condition, that is, she was relatively calm, but at this point we do some tests by calling the lift from the upper floors...

Nothing, the doors on the ground floor made the closing movement but opened immediately, it no longer responded to the commands received, so with equally considerable difficulty the lady herself who had remained locked inside the lift contacted technical assistance , the automatic responder is finally overcome and someone human talks to her, making arrangements for an emergency response, moral of the story, that elevator is always in trouble, if I can, if I feel fit, I will use the stairs now on if things don't change in the future...

Versione Italiana

Prendo l'ascensore effettivamente, salgo al 4° piano, o meglio, spero che riesca a salire fino al 4° piano, la manovra riesce, con la sua ormai caratteristica lentezza tocca il 4° piano, tiro un bel sospiro di sollievo ed esco con tutto l'occorrente per la pulizia della scala, anzi, utilizzo sempre l'ascensore per spostare il secchio e gli attrezzi da un piano all'altro, finché arrivo al 1° piano, sento ripetutamente l'azionamento del meccanismo di chiamata dell'ascensore in un altro piano, ma non ci faccio caso più di tanto, in fondo ero arrivato al 1° piano, per cui la restante rampa delle scale l'avrei fatta a piedi, senza l'impiego dell'ascensore...

Una ragazza prende l'ascensore dopo di me, la saluto cordialmente e non presto attenzione più di tanto al suo funzionamento, finché non sento ripetutamente un rumore continuo, ragion per cui guardo verso la fonte del rumore stesso...

L'ascensore non era più al piano terra, dove mi trovavo io in quel momento, ma sentivo dei rumori in giro, salgo un paio di piani e qualcuno era rimasto chiuso dentro all'ascensore stesso, era fra il 1° e il 2° piano, al piano terra avevo intuito che c'era qualcosa che non andava perché le porte avevano avuto un funzionamento anomalo, un rumore che non c'entrava nulla con quello che stava succedendo pochi metri sopra, ho cercato di tranquillizzare l'occupante dell'ascensore, ma per puro caso, pochi minuti dopo che questa signora rimanesse chiusa dentro l'ascensore, sento nuovamente il funzionamento dell'ascensore stesso, che scende fino al piano terra, la signora esce, in buone condizioni, cioè era relativamente tranquilla, ma a questo punto facciamo delle prove, andando a chiamare l'ascensore dai piani superiori...

Nulla, le porte del piano terra facevano il movimento della chiusura ma si aprivano immediatamente, non rispondeva più ai comandi ricevuti, per cui con altrettanto notevoli difficoltà la signora stessa che era rimasta chiusa dentro l'ascensore si mette in contatto con l'assistenza tecnica, il risponditore automatico finalmente viene superato e qualcuno di umano parla con lei, mettendosi d'accordo per un pronto intervento, morale della favola, quell'ascensore è sempre nei guai, se posso, se mi sentirò in forma, userò le scale d'ora in poi se le cose non dovessero cambiare in futuro...
