Siete mai stati in Valle d'Aosta? Beh, se ci siete stati, converrete con me che è davvero un luogo magico. Le montagne della Valle d'Aosta portano con sè qualcosa di sacro e monumentale. La quiete, la pace e la magnificenza che si respirano immersi in questa natura rimagono scolpiti nella memoria.

La foto che ho scelto per la seconda settimana di questo bellissimo contest, l'ho scattata al termine di una camminata che feci con il mio gruppo di amici, in Valsavarenche, la valle dei laghi in Valle d'Aosta. La Valsavarenche rimane la mia valle preferita in assoluto di questa regione. La maggior parte delle camminate che si possono compiere in questa valle costeggiano o finiscono in un lago dall'acqua freddissima. Il panorama di ogni camminata è incredibile: le Alpi innevate dominano sulle valli riflettendo la loro figura nell'acqua limida dei laghi Alpini.

Ho scelto questa foto perchè per me le Alpi Valdostane sono davvero qualcosa di indimenticabile e di assolutamente caratteristico nei panorami Italiani. Questa foto la scattai nell'Agosto 2012, con il mio primo smartphone, un vecchissimo Samsung Galaxy Gio GT-S5660 fotocamera 3Mpx, sebbene la definizione non sia delle migliori, ogni volta che riguardo questa foto respiro un po' di quella quiete che provai al termine di questa camminata.

Have you ever been to Aosta Valley? Well, if you have, you will agree with me that it is truly a magical place. The mountains of the Aosta Valley bring with them something sacred and monumental. The quiet, the peace and the magnificence that you breathe while you are in this nature remain forever engraved in your memory.

The photo I chose for the second week of this beautiful contest was taken at the end of a walk I did with my group of friends in Valsavarenche, the valley of lakes in Aosta Valley. Valsavarenche remains my absolute favorite valley in this region. Most of the hikes you can take in this valley border or end at a very cold water lake. The views on each hike are incredible: the snow-capped Alps dominate the valleys, reflecting their silhouettes in the clear water of the Alpine lakes.

I chose this photo because for me the Valdostan Alps are really something unforgettable and absolutely characteristic of Italian landscapes. This picture was taken in August 2012, with my first smartphone, a very old Samsung Samsung Galaxy Gio GT-S5660, camera 3Mpx, although the definition is not the best, every time I look at this picture I breathe a little bit of that quiet that I felt at the end of this walk.
