The diary game - [IT] 28 Febbraio 2021, Domenica in Falesia! - [EN] 28th of February 2021, a Climbing Sunday!

[IT] Il tempo di questo week end era troppo bello per poter stare in casa, e vista la situazione attuale, le alternative non sono tante per poter impiegare il proprio tempo. Così ho deciso di approfittare del bel sole e di andare ad arrampicare in una falesia non lontano da dove abito!
Arrampico ormai da 3 anni, e mi diverto molto in questo sport. Ovviamente ultimamente le occasioni per arrampicare sono state poche, vuoi l'inverno, vuoi le restrizioni covid, saranno passati quasi 6 mesi dall'ultima volta in falesia.

[EN] The weather this weekend was too nice to stay at home, and considering the current situation, there aren't a lot of alternatives to use your time. So I decided to take advantage of the beautiful sunshine and go climbing at a climbing wall not far from where I live!
I have been climbing for 3 years now, and I really enjoy the sport. Obviously, lately I've had very few opportunities to climb, either because of the winter or because of covid restrictions, and it's been almost 6 months since I've been to a climbing site.

[IT] Ma oggi mi sono recata in questa falesia invernale, perchè essendo rivolta a sud, il sole scalda la parete tutto il giorno. Purtroppo però, arrivati in parete, il tempo è peggiorato, ed il sole è sparito. Ma, nonostante questo, siamo stati qualche ora ad arrampicare. Io ho fatto solo vie da "seconda", ovvero sono andata su solo che dopo un mio compagno aveva già "montato" la corda nei rinvii.
[EN] But today I went to this winter climbing location, because being south facing, the sun warms the wall all day long. Unfortunately, however, when we got to the wall, the weather got worse, and the sun disappeared. But, despite this, we spent a few hours climbing. I only did "second" routes, that is, I went up only after a friend of mine had already "mounted" the rope in the quickdraws.

[IT] A fine giornata però il sole è spuntato e ci ha tenuto compagnia per le ultime vie.
[EN] At the end of the day, however, the sun came out and stayed with us for the last few routes.

[IT] Sono tornata a casa soddisfatta. L'arrampicata è uno sport complesso, soprattutto mentale, e quando riesci ad abbattere un po' delle paure che ti porti dietro ti senti più libera e più felice.
[EN] I came home satisfied. Climbing is a complex sport, especially a mental one, and when you can break down some of the fears you carry around, you feel freer and happier.
