[IT] Le montagne Valdostane mi affascinano a tutte le ore… anche alla sera, con l’ultima parvenza di luce del cielo, si stagliano fiere con il loro profilo maestoso nel blu della notte che avanza. Ho scattato questa foto i primi giorni di Agosto, la prima sera della mia vacanza Valdostana. La cosa che più mi ha colpito di questo panorama, era il fatto che le montagne sembrassero delle ombre cinesi, e come tali, se ne potesse scorgere solo il profilo lasciando spazio all’immaginazione per quanto riguardasse il resto.

[EN] The mountains of the Aosta Valley fascinate me at all hours of the day... even in the evening, with the last rays of light in the sky, they stand out proudly with their majestic profile in the blue of the advancing night. I took this photo at the beginning of August, on the first evening of my holidays in the Aosta Valley. The thing that impressed me most about this view was the fact that the mountains seemed like Chinese shadows, and as such, you could only make out their outline, leaving the rest to the imagination.

The photo is my own, taken with my Samsung A6 smartphone (16Mpx camera).
