Well I was not aware of this theory. It sounds plausible. I also think the word "friend " is misused often. Most people mistaken acquintances for friends. So the Dunbar effect could have real life validity.

Especially on social media! This is why I'm trying to apply the concept to Steemit, and maybe even DTube.
