Il saluto di Beatrice a Dante ..

Beatrice è talmente aggraziata, bella e gentile che con quel saluto, sfuggente e paradisiaco, trasmette a Dante una felicità così grande da donare beatitudine, un sentimento che nulla ha a che vedere con l’aspetto fisico e valica i limiti dello spirito. Per Dante quel saluto è quasi mistico tanto da attribuirne il termine “da salus”, “dona salvezza”

Beatrice's greeting to Dante.. Beatrice is so graceful, beautiful and kind that with that elusive and heavenly greeting, she transmits to Dante such great happiness as to give bliss, a feeling that has nothing to do with the physical appearance and goes beyond the limits of the spirit. For Dante that greeting is almost mystical, so much so that he gave it the term "da salus", "gives salvation"
