[Unforgettable Italy] An adventure in Sestri Levante

When I lived in Italy I used to travel around the country almost every weekend. I knew that I won't stay there for a long time, so I did my best to explore as many Italian places as it is possible. And each trip was memorable, special, and full of adventures.
Today, I will share with you a story that happened to me and my friends when we were going to Cinque Terra.
It was October 2016. We booked a blablacar to go to Cinque Terra. The day before the trip a blablacar driver called and asked if we are sure that we gonna go there. I was surprised that she asked for it and confirmed our trip.
It was raining in the morning. We met with the driver and started our journey. On the way to Cinque Terra, we picked up one more fellow traveler. As our driver, he was going to his family home. And he asked us why we are going to Cinque Terra today, we answered that we are traveling. He was shocked. Then he and the driver were talking about something in Italian.
Then he looked at us and said, that we are crazy if we decided to travel this weekend. It was going to be stormy. And it was recommended to stay at home. We thought that they overestimate the rain, and just smiled.
However, when we reached Sestri Levante the rain was crazy strong, and it started being windy. Our driver said that she won't be able to go further. So, we had no choice but just to spend a day in Sestri Levante.
We book accommodation via airbnb, and when we reached the place we fully absolutely wet. In a couple of hours, the rain stopped, and the weather seemed good. So, we went outside to explore the area and to find something to eat. However, we walked only 5 mins and the storm came back. We got wet back again.
The storm has finished in the evening and we walked in that small city with cozy streets. And if be honest, I am happy that we spent an evening there. Sestri Levante has a special atmosphere. And of course, the next day morning was amazing! We met a sunrise in Cinque Terra!
