A Vatican city... A city in the city

I remember when I was planning my trip to Rome the first place I wanted to visit was the Vatican. I even bought a special tourist pass to skip the line. I remember the line was super long that day.

I arrived at the Vatican in the early morning and the doors were still closed. So, I and my friend were waiting outside. And I was observing the construction on that square. Gosh! It is so stunning! Each detail! Each statue. Each column. The statues looked like they are going to come to life and begin to move.

The atmosphere is amazing!
