Mientras te leía estaba pensando en algo un poco irónico acerca del riesgo y es que quienes lo toman a veces son juzgados, sentenciados e ignorados, es verdad. Pero por otro lado también se nos dice que quien no se arriesga ni gana ni pierde... Y también sé que si queremos salir de la rutina aburrida y añadirle color a nuestra vida es importante asumir riesgos.
En Steemit he visto casos que son dignos de recordar, hay una persona a la que admiro, porque aunque hubo un momento en el que perdió la alegría en Steemit, aunque seguía siendo muy correcta, un día decidió correr el riesgo de desahogarse y decir todos esos sentimientos de tristeza e inconformidad que sentía y luego decidió marcharse. Recuerdo que esa vez le dije que aunque tuvo un desenlace indeseado, yo no podía dejar de decirle que ser coherente era lo más hermoso que podía hacer, algo digno de admiración, porque esa coherencia era más importante que cualquier puñado de monedas que pudiera recibir... La verdad nos libera y nos da una recompensa que no se puede comprar con dinero, nos da además un sentido de merito, de dignidad, de valor propio, que a mediano plazo puede eclipsar cualquier desavenencia temporal...
Correr el riesgo de ser tú mismo, de ser coherente, te da un sentido de valor que va más allá de la simple satisfacción... Y es algo que solo podemos comprobar por nosotros mismos, no tan solo viéndolo en otros.
En el caso particular de Steemit, mucho se trata de la expresión y obviamente, la expresión solo puede ser genuina si no esta amarrada a intereses ajenos a ella misma, el miedo a perder no es un buen acompañante a la hora de asumir riesgos, a la hora de expresarse... Pero si por experiencia llegamos a conocer el gran valor de esa expresión genuina, vamos a saber que no hay nada que temer realmente, que por el contrario, asumir esos riesgos, nos va a llevar a otro nivel...
Ojala todos los steemians pudieran conocer esa libertad, y puedan experimentar por sí mismos este tipo de expresión libre que al fin y al cabo es lo que nos puede interesar leer en otros, algo propio, distinto a la masas... pero eso solo se encuentra allí, en la individualidad de cada quién.
Espero no haberme extendido mucho, pero es un tema apasionante, y que tiene mucho para dar.

We are all raised by the state and taught to fit in and warned not to draw outside the lines if we want to be accepted. True dictatorship or is it a method to control and keep the peace at crowded places? We know that without rules it will be chaos and the majority needs someone to speak for them and take the risks and the fall!
Raised in "fear", the feeling not being accepted, heard or fit in, thiswill change people once they are active on the internet. We have bullies, trolls, scammers, keyboard heroes, leaders and followers and those who grow stronger (see the answers given on the SEC Steem & Fame) next to a small group doing as they like, doing what is good for them.
The nobodies can grow into personalities with expectations for sure different from the day they started on the internet (Steemit). It's fine since it's good to grow and ask: What do I want for me?
A pity is that many who shout out do it only once they are close to a mental breakdown and next it is goodbye. To me it sounds the easiest way out. If you can leave you can also stay and do without an upvote and stay for what you fight for.
Perhaps this is the right moment to realize those expectations were unrealistic?
If money became that important it rules everything the vision is blurred.
What is left is? For sure not the niche that should give us the urge to express ourselves which is the most powerful tool we have and needed to create better content.
Bitterness, dissatisfaction can be used to create something new, it can be what drives us to briden the horizon. It will not be easy if you tiptoe and live in fear though. Ifit comes to fear...that fear might be based on nothing (what we fear most is the fear for fearing) but I hear many mention it in the past weeks.
Risk takers, those who stand up aren't liked mainly because they are the living proof of what we don't dare to say or do. They are the mirror reflecting us the cowards with all our shortcomings but we are intelligent enough to understand we need them. Those risk takers I see them as the brilliant minds, inventors, creative ones improving our lives.
To many on Steemit it might sound unfair how the "system" operates since they find it normal to receive a piece of the cake while standing in the background or not being present at all. Justice to all will be difficult if you want to entroll a great idea. Controll is part of it and consumes a lot of time, energy and commitment. How many like to invest in that?
We can discuss who invests more time in this platform. Is it you or is it me with a slow broken phone during a blackdown plugged in a powerbank using a nearly empty mobile router after 4 hours sleep? Can time being compared? I don't think so and even if whatever we do we it is our free choice.

To fight for what feels right/good for yourself is a hard fight. I started as a young child at the time I realized I can't lie and the result was I had to give up on everything. I sacrificed everything, myself to save otherd and today I am still hunted because I dared to speak out and fought back.
No way I give up on what I achieved after years of hardships. I would be an idiot after all I went through. It would feel like self betrayal.
