Walk to Sibiu Rally Romania

Considering that Sibiu is full of events every summer and there is not just a Wednesday walk but almost everyday walk, I saved some of these special posts for the Wednesdays where I can delight your eyes with all the moments happening in town pictures managing to say more than words will ever do.
However, the event from today's post will share just a little part of the Sibiu Rally Romania as I took easily over 200 images and videos in a single day, so for now I'll just introduce you to the whole atmosphere and how everything looked like before the parade of the cars began.
When we arrived, the cars were just getting ready to align in the column before starting the parade where people could admire them one by one and even meet the racers. However, there were still some which were either resting in their base or having some quick technical revisions before the beautiful event.
The Sibiu Rally Romania, originally known as the Raliul Sibiului represents an international rally racing event which takes part yearly in Transylvania representing just one round of the European, Bulgarian and European Rally Championships.
It's been more than 10 years since the championship found its home also in Romania and it's also the 2nd time I manage to get to see these cars, the first time being in the last year when I've only seen them during the races, missing the chance to admire the cars closely.
However, back then I promised myself that I won't miss the chance in next year to get to the parade and see all these gems on four wheels that many people risk their lives driving them while trying to beat scores and win in front of the other participants, remembering about an event from last year when a car caught fire while driving.
With all the sporty and filled of adrenaline event, of course we couldn't miss the chance to dress up with our sport clothes and get lost in the crowd while admiring the cars more closely and even seeing how are on the inside, being completely different from how normal cars look like.
Anyway, there were a little bit more than 70 cars with teams from all over the world so I guess you will realize how hard is to catch them all in just a few pictures from a post without spamming with too many images, so, for now, I decided to dedicate this post with the pictures from the crowd and some information what's the whole event about before jumping into details and seeing the beauty closer on the screen.
Though I will create at least two more posts from this event in the following weeks so if you are passionate about powerful cars but especially races and rallies, then I'm sure you will notice lots of beautiful gems on four wheels. 😃
