UNFORGETTABLE ITALY - Week 18||Roman Forum-Beauty, culture and history, by @gsiscolors [ENG-ITA]

That morning, we had left the canonization of Mother Carmen Sallés in the Vatican, and later he had other visits, one of which was to the Forum. It is one of the most beautiful archaeological sites, among its ruins you can see the art that is in it. Every corner contains centuries of history and culture.

Located in Rome, it tells the story that was born and established itself as the political, religious and legal-administrative center of the ancient city after the valley occupied by it, including between the Palatine, the Capitol and the Quirinal hills, was cleaned up by means of the construction of the famous Cloaca Máxima, thus becoming the Forum, that is to say, the Plaza. As today, it was where commerce, business, prostitution, religion, and the administration of justice took place. The communal home was located there Source.

Back then, this was not how the picture shows. What we observe in photography according to Giuseppe Gangi in his book Rome yesterday and today, superimposed images (we bought it on the trip) more than by the destructive action of time, is due to the devastating action of men, after the fall of the Empire Roman.

The Roman Forum has important monuments, buildings and ruins, some of them:

• House of the Vestals.
• Temple of Venus and Rome.
• The Curia, the former seat of the Roman Senate.
• Temple of Vesta.

Ciao amici!

Per questo post ho selezionato la fotografia del Foro Romano, scattata durante il mio secondo giorno di viaggio in Italia nell'ottobre 2012.

Quella mattina avevamo lasciato in Vaticano la canonizzazione di Madre Carmen Sallés, e poi ha fatto altre visite, una delle quali al Foro. È uno dei siti archeologici più belli, tra le sue rovine puoi vedere l'arte che c'è in esso. Ogni angolo racchiude secoli di storia e cultura.

Situato a Roma, racconta la storia che nacque e si affermò come centro politico, religioso e giuridico-amministrativo dell'antica città dopo che la valle da essa occupata, compresa tra il Palatino, il Campidoglio e il Quirinale, fu ripulita attraverso la costruzione della famosa Cloaca Máxima, divenendo così il Foro, vale a dire la Piazza. Come oggi, era il luogo dove si svolgevano il commercio, gli affari, la prostituzione, la religione e l'amministrazione della giustizia. La casa comunale si trovava lì Fonte.

A quei tempi, non era così che mostra l'immagine. Quello che osserviamo nella fotografia secondo Giuseppe Gangi nel suo libro Roma ieri e oggi, immagini sovrapposte (l'abbiamo comprata durante il viaggio) più che dall'azione distruttiva del tempo, è dovuto all'azione devastatrice degli uomini, dopo la caduta del Impero Romano.

Il Foro Romano ha importanti monumenti, edifici e rovine, alcuni dei quali:

• Casa delle Vestali.
• Tempio di Venere e Roma.
• La Curia, antica sede del Senato romano.
• Tempio di Vesta.
