This blue glass sculpture Named "Comet Glass Star" was created by the glassmaker Simone Cenedese and it's being displayed on the Campo San Stefano near the Murano clock tower and the San Pietro Martire Church.

Murano is a small island on north of Venice
the easiest way to get there is with a vaporetto from Venice.

Murano despite of it's exceptional beauty is also being famous for the art of creating unique crystals for more than a hundred years,

the oldest Murano glass factory founded in 1866.

Murano crystals are considered as a luxury art and are very expensive due to the hard work that is being required for their creation.

Learning the working process takes around 20 years

This unique method of glass-making,ends up in some very unique creations with plenty of colours and beautiful patterns - shapes, trully elegant amazing artworks.

You can view the whole procedure step by step in a glass factory
paying a little price for entrance...the glassmaker will combime specific materials by melting them in the furnace to end up with some unique creations in front of your eyes...it takes about 30 minutes and a helper will be there commenting and explaining the procedure step by step in English and Italian as well

Unfortunatelly i couldn't afford the price to buy one...but after all,experiences are more valuable than matter.
