Unforgettable Italy - Burano

This foto was taken during a trip in northern Italy about three years ago

Ferrara - Padova - Bologna - Venice - Murano - burano

Burano is a small island part of a complex of islands that surrounding venice

Our trip in northern Italy was more than unique...we had already visited Rome before but this was by far more different experience

The people were so warm and friendly that gave us the feeling that we were locals.

We found a local restaurant in Ferrara with a very friendly old guy and we had the most great Gnocchi we had ever ate in our life.

Venice was so amazing and unique as even the small islands that were surrounding her

whenever you were decided to look the view was fantastic

Burano it really was like a fairytale...colourful houses,small canals with small boats...it was really breathtaking

That trip had really changed my view about Italy and Italians

i mean...it was always was a very special neighboour
But now they are like brothers to me.

And as a local boat worker told us when he noticed that we were Greeks

"We are brothers from Sicelia"
