I took this photo on a previous trip to Venice in St Mark's Square.

---

The square itself is very picturesque, but the Basilica of St. Mark's and this tall tower of St. Mark's bell tower make it even more picturesque

This tall tower is so unique that the top of it stood out long before we got to the square

Looking at the photo, I got the idea to leave it in color and make the rest of the picture in black and white.
