Un pezzo di storia - A piece of history [ITA-ENG]

Ciao a tutti

Qualche giorno fa mi sono messo a fare una ricerca su Coinmarketcap.

Stupito dal fatto che Steem veleggiasse tra la trecentesima e la quattrocentesima posizione nella classifica dei token più capitalizzati, cercavo un po' di dati storici sulla nostra moneta.

Sapevo che avrei trovato scenari ben diversi, sono qui dal 2017 e ho vissuto una parte dell'epoca d'oro.

Ma quello che ho trovato è davvero andato oltre ogni mia aspettativa.

Questa è un'istantanea del 24 luglio 2016 e Steem era la terza moneta più capitalizzata dietro solo a Bitcoin ed Ethereum!!

Erano trascorsi tre mesi dal lancio della piattaforma di blogging, il suo valore era di 3,50$ con una Market Cap di 330 milioni di dollari.

All'epoca esistevano solo poche centinaia di criptovalute e Steem era uno degli asset più importanti e di maggior spicco.

Considerate che in quel momento, avreste potuto acquistare 1 ETH con poco più di 3 Steem e mezzo, e 1 Bitcoin con meno di 200 Steem.

A voi cosa provoca questa immagine?

A me fa venire di sicuro tanta nostalgia, un bel po' di rimpianti ma anche dei pensieri positivi.

Mi fa capire che abbiamo in mano una gemma, una moneta che ha fatto la storia della blockchain e che ha del potenziale immenso, che non è mai stato espresso del tutto.

Non voglio parlare di tutti gli errori del passato, mi piace più pensare a cosa possiamo fare da ora in avanti.

Il mondo delle crypto è cresciuto e si è evoluto, ha cambiato pelle decine di volte, ha visto entrare nuovi attori e nascere innumerevoli novità.

Noi probabilmente siamo rimasti un po' indietro, ma non ci dobbiamo fermare, dobbiamo andare avanti, guardare alle innovazioni e integrarle nel nostro mondo.

Vorrei anche che fosse un po' riscoperta la storia di Steem, che fosse raccontata a chi non la conosce, perché faccia da guida e ci faccia tornare ad essere protagonisti.

Se qualcuno di voi che sta leggendo questo post era qui quando tutto è nato e vuole aggiungere qualcosa o raccontare qualche storia, mi scriva nei commenti o in privato.

Sarà bellissimo ritornare indietro a quel periodo fantastico.

Ma ripeto, non ci fermiamo a ciò che è stato, facciamo in modo che quell'immagine sia uno stimolo per tutti e che il nostro futuro possa essere ancora più radioso.

A few days ago I started doing a search on Coinmarketcap.

Amazed by the fact that Steem sailed between the 300th and the 400th position in the ranking of the most capitalized tokens, I was looking for some historical data on our coin.

I knew that I would find very different scenarios, I have been here since 2017 and I lived a part of the golden age.

But what I found really exceeded my expectations.

This is a snapshot from July 24, 2016 and Steem was the third most capitalized coin behind only Bitcoin and Ethereum !!

Three months had passed since the launch of the Steemit blogging platform, its value was $ 3.50 with a Market Cap of $ 330 million.

At the time, there were only a few hundred cryptocurrencies, and Steem was one of the most important and most prominent assets.

Consider that at that moment, you could have bought 1 ETH with just over 3 and a half Steem, and 1 Bitcoin with less than 200 Steem.

What does this image cause to you?

It certainly gives me a lot of nostalgia, a lot of regrets but also positive thoughts.

It makes me understand that we are holding a gem, a coin that made the history of the blockchain and that has immense potential, which has never been fully expressed.

I don't want to talk about all the mistakes of the past, I like more to think about what we can do from now on.

The world of crypto has grown and evolved, it has changed its skin dozens of times, has seen new actors enter and countless innovations are born.

We have probably fallen behind a bit, but we must not stop, we must move forward, look at innovations and integrate them into our world.

I would also like the story of Steem to be rediscovered a little, to be told to those who do not know it, so that they can guide us and make us become protagonists again.

But I repeat, let's not stop at what has been, let's make sure that that image is a stimulus for everyone and that our future can be even brighter.
