1000 DAYS OF STEEM - The Diary Game Season 2 - 01/08/2020: Let’s start! - Partiamo! [ENG-ITA]

Hello everyone and welcome to the second season of the Diary Game!

Today is my first day of vacation and this is definitely a very positive thing. I love the sea very much and I could never do without it. All the more so at this time when record temperatures are occurring here in Italy, staying at home would have been a truly unbearable suffering.

Certainly, however, there are some slightly disadvantageous aspects regarding our game, given that today is also the first day of the new Diary Game. Here I don't have a PC and whatever I want to write or process, it must be done with my iPhone. In addition, I have two little kids to whom I dedicate almost all of the time available to me, as it should be.

For these reasons, I also had doubts about my participation in the italian team and I immediately mentioned it when I was asked to take on the role of coordinator of the group.
But, in the end, the enthusiasm of the other members of the @Italygame team convinced me to be part of it.

For this, I will try to do my best to find time and way to write continuously. I hope to succeed.

Today, as a first day, it was quite confusing, but I had no doubts, because this is the first holiday for us for 4.
After just over 2 hours of travel, we arrived in Acciaroli in the early afternoon. Fortunately, despite being a day with many departures, we did not find traffic. As soon as we arrived, we packed our bags and went to say goodbye to our local friends, Pasquale and Loredana. They have a beautiful house on the hill overlooking the village, from which you can enjoy a fantastic view. And in fact I didn't miss the chance to take a picture before leaving.

Then we went to change our clothes and went to the beach.
It was after 6 p.m. in the afternoon and it was the ideal time to bring my son Daniele, who is 9 months old, to the sea for the first time.

It was a very exciting experience...since he had always shown that he was comfortable in the water, we expected him to like it and in fact it was.

He took a bath in my arms and also in his toy-shaped lifesaver, in which he found himself wonderfully. Not even a small accident on the course, when he went a little too far and went into the water with his head for a few moments, did not spoil his first time.
So we stayed until just before sunset and then we went home tired, but very happy.

Buongiorno a tutti e benvenuti nella seconda stagione del Diary Game!

Oggi è il mio primo giorno di vacanza e questa è sicuramente una cosa molto positiva. Amo tantissimo il mare e non potrei mai farne a meno. A maggior ragione in questo momento in cui qui in Italia si stanno verificando delle temperature record, stare a casa sarebbe stata una sofferenza davvero insopportabile.

Di sicuro, però, ci sono degli aspetti un po’ svantaggiosi per quello che riguarda il nostro gioco, visto che oggi è anche il primo giorno del nuovo Diary Game. Qui non sono provvisto di un pc e qualunque cosa voglia scrivere o elaborare, deve essere fatta con il mio iPhone. Inoltre, ho due bambini piccoli ai quali dedico la quasi totalità del tempo a mia disposizione, com’è giusto che sia.

Per questi motivi, avevo anche dei dubbi riguardo alla mia partecipazione nel team italiano e l’ho fatto presente immediatamente quando mi è stato chiesto di assumere il ruolo di coordinatore del gruppo.
Ma alla fine l’entusiasmo degli altri membri del team @Italygame mi ha convinto a farne parte. Per questo, proverò a fare il massimo per trovare tempo e modo di scrivere con continuità. Spero di riuscirci.

Oggi, come primo giorno è stato abbastanza confusionario, ma non avevo dubbi, perchè questa per noi è la prima vacanza in 4.
Dopo poco più di 2 ore di viaggio, siamo arrivati ad Acciaroli nel primo pomeriggio. Fortunatamente, pur essendo un giorno con molte partenze, non abbiamo trovato traffico. Appena arrivati, abbiamo sistemato i bagagli e siamo andati a salutare i nostri amici del posto, Pasquale e Loredana. Loro hanno una bella casa sulla collinetta che sovrasta il paesino, dalla quale si può godere di una fantastica visuale. E infatti non ho perso l’occasione di scattare una foto prima di andare via.

Poi siamo andati a cambiarci e siamo scesi in spiaggia. Erano passate le 6 del pomeriggio ed era il momento ideale per portare al mare per la prima volta mio figlio Daniele, che ha 9 mesi.

E’ stata un’esperienza davvero molto emozionante...visto che lui aveva sempre mostrato di trovarsi bene in acqua, ci aspettavamo che gli piacesse e infatti così è stato.
Ha fatto il bagno in braccio a me e anche nel suo salvagente a forma di macchinina, nel quale si è trovato a meraviglia. Neanche un piccolo incidente di percorso, quando si è sporto un po’ troppo ed è andato a finire in acqua con la testa per qualche attimo, ha rovinato questa sua prima volta.

Così siamo rimasti fino a poco prima del tramonto e poi siamo tornati a casa stanchi, ma molto felici.
