PhotoChain Challenge TESTNET Edition Number 13 - A Day In The Beach
Hello PhotoChain enthusiasts. Let's welcome Edition Number 13 of the PhotoChain Challenge TESTNET hosted by @davidesimoncini. This challenge is only 3 months old but it is one that brings out the creativity of the participants. Every week the challenge is to show in one picture the 2 Keywords that were chosen by the previous week's winners. And then, after doing so, the participants are to choose one Keyword which is any object found in their picture. When a participant is declared the winner, his or her Keyword will be used in the next Edition. It really is simple if you get to know it. But you can check out in more details the rules here. Last March, my daughter who works in Germany came home for a 3 week vacation. And the first thing we did was go to the beach which was what she missed the most. We went on a day tour in one of the more popular resorts in the Garden Island City of Samal, an island just across the Davao Channel. Since the island is not accessible by land we had to travel by barge to get to the island and another hour to get to the resort. But it was worth all the trouble.
It was a week day and we had the beach resort almost to ourselves. No crowds, no long lines, nobody to disturb you. Just us!
The lifeguard told me that the weekend before our visit, they had over 600 guests all packed up in the resort. Imagine how the photos below would look like if there were 600 people all over the place?
I don't think I would have enjoyed it at all.
The photo below shows the mountain range system of Davao City. It might not be too clear but the highest mountain in our country, Mt. Apo, is one of the mountains in this range. It's the one at the back.
Anyway, the last photo is my entry to this Edition of the PhotoChain Challenge. It shows the mountains at the background and the leaves of the tree for the green keyword.
My Personal Keyword is Reflection which is coming from the white posts reflected on the water.

Beautiful and charming landscapes with sapphire green sea and dreamy blue mountains. I would gladly and forever change it for our snow and pines, haha! Never had an opportunity to go there, sadly. All in all - a great entry, and a promising new keyword. Supported!
I haven't seen snow and I would like to live through the winter season just to know what it's like. Though I don't think I will exchange the tropics for it. But there are lots of foreigners who, after visiting our country, have decided to live here permanently. Maybe if the price of Steem goes through the moon as it did in 2017 you can visit and, yes, decide to leave the snow and pine forever for a life of sunshine by the sea.
