Photochain Challenge Edition 67 - Guitar and Pearls
Hello everyone. We are now in Edition 67 of the PhotoChain Challenge hosted by @davidesimoncini. Check out this unique and awesome contest. Click on the link here to know more about this.
The keywords for this week are:
GUITAR by @olivia08
PEARLS by @gems.and.cookies
I just had to do another post not only to promote this awesome contest but also to explain how I was able to dig up one of the keywords from a paint can used as a flower pot. That keyword is Pearls.
What? Pearls from a paint can filled with soil? They obviously don't grow on soil, of course. How did that happen?
Okay, okay. Before anything else, here's my entry to this Edition, showing the two keywords, GUITAR and PEARLS.
The guitar is mine which I purchased back in 1993. It's a Yamaha C40, a classical guitar. The nylon strings are not the original ones as I have changed the sets of strings a lot of times in the past. But the sound is just as good as it did 25 years ago. This is one of the best buys I did in my life. The only regret I have is none of my kids nor my grandson are interested in it. Oh well. It is as it is.
Now, for the pearls. This is how I discovered them.
There used to be a rose bush planted here by my daughter when she was still living with us. But she has now moved out and transferred to another place and that meant her plants could not be taken cared of as well as when she was here. Eventually this plant died. But how did pearls get into this? I think now that she read somewhere that white pearls in plants can have air purifying benefits so she sprinkled a handful of white pearls on this rose plant. She forgot about them when she left. So, I dug up the pearls, cleaned them and place them in a container, all the while mindful of the PhotoChain Challenge Keyword.
I guess the question that begs to be answered is how in Harry's name did my daughter get to have that much pearls? Oh I forgot to mention, she makes fashion accessories like necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rosaries from freshwater pearls and beads and sells them online. That's why she has a lot of these pearls with her. Here's a sample of her finished product.
That's her business name, Tesori Pearls dvo ph. But her products are only available in the Philippines. So if you are from another country, buying is out of the question.
Anyway, question answered, mystery solved. That's how the pearls in my PhotoChain entry happen to come from a flower pot, or more precisely a flower can @xiao-aine.
So back to my entry, my Personal Keyword is STRIPES which is the design of the table runner I used in the photoshoot.
GUITAR / PEARLS / STRIPES
Hoping to see your entries everyone though I must admit the keywords this week are a bit tough. Still, thinkers out of the box like @lupega @jpegg @wakeupkitty.pal @dim753 @eskarem @gemamedina @solperez @xiao-aine @jiva34 @olivia08 and @jhellenmjgr might come up with some surprises. There's still time folks.
All for now. Thanks for dropping in. Stay safe and have a blessed weekend ahead.
