EDITORIALE

Una cosa è certa, il tempo passa alla velocità della luce. Mi sembra siano trascorse solo poche ore da quando, insieme al Team di @italygame, abbiamo deciso di mettere in pista questo concorso, basato sui pronostici sportivi, ma è già ora di rendersi conto che la prima fase è terminata e che sono trascorse ben sette settimane.

Come accade per i tornei calcistici reali, come i Mondiali, la Coppa America o gli Europei, il momento in cui si chiude la prima parte ed alcuni protagonisti tornano a casa, suscita sempre sentimenti contrastanti: grande gioia ed orgoglio per coloro i quali sono riusciti a qualificarsi, un po' di tristezza per chi invece è costretto ad abbandonare il torneo. Ed è proprio per questo che, da noi, il gioco non finisce per nessuno!

Proprio in un'ottica di condivisione fino all'ultima settimana la Italygame Cup^TM prevede diversi giochi e premi, ai quali anche chi non si è qualificato per la seconda fase può partecipare. I premi settimanali rimangono raggiungibili per qualunque utente voglia partecipare, anche per la prima volta, al gioco, così come gli altri piccoli simbolici riconoscimenti, che includono il medagliere per "squadre" nazionali, la Hall of Fame e lo Sly Trick Wall.

Se il vostro nome non è tra i sedici che si giocheranno i premi finali, non ci abbandonate e rimanete a farci compagnia fino all'ultimo, aiutando la vostra nazione a vincere il "torneo olimpico", puntando agli altri premi e magari accumulando un po' di esperienza per la prossima edizione.

N.B: In the event of a tie, the user who is able to win the most bets in the competition occupies a higher position, and in second order the one with the most weekly participations or who entered the competition first.

Prizes to be won

The prizes up for grabs for the competition winners at the end of the ten-week competition period will be as follows:

• Winner: 100 Steem

• 2nd place: 60 Steem

• 3rd place: 40 Steem

• Secondary trophy winner: 20 Steem

IMPORTANT: No matter how carefully the results and rankings are checked, error is human (especially when it comes to numbers) and therefore always possible. Should a participant notice an error in counting at any stage of the game, he/she may make a complaint within three days of the post being published (please only make complaints after carefully checking the validity of the post). After this date, the results will be considered final. Thank you for your co-operation.

The eighth instalment of the competition will be published tomorrow, Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023, at approximately 5.00 p.m. Italian time - 3.00 p.m. if UTC time is taken into account. The time was chosen because it was judged, compatibly with personal commitments, to be the most suitable for participation from different parts of the world.

The scheduled matches will be the thirty-fourth day of the Italian football league, Serie A, and the thirty-fifth day of the English league, Premier League.

If you enjoyed entering this contest, at least as much as I did, I look forward to seeing you there. Remember that you can enter the competition to try and win the weekly prizes in any of the episodes, so if you haven't already done so, or if you think you might be interested in a friend who was absent the first few weeks, get them involved in the game!
