Sono andata al comune qualche anno fa con mia madre, abbiamo fatto il viaggio in autobus, abbiamo viaggiato per circa 7 ore, un viaggio lungo ma sopportabile visto che abbiamo parlato, fatto foto e anche dormito un'ora mentre viaggiavamo.

I went to the municipality a few years ago with my mother, we took the bus, we traveled for about 7 hours, a long journey but bearable since we talked, took pictures and even slept for an hour while we were travelling.

Qui vediamo il fiume Cauca, il principale generatore della famosa idroelettrica di questo comune.

Attualmente questo fiume ha avuto qualche problema poiché la portata è diminuita e quindi la centrale idroelettrica ha dovuto innovarsi per poter generare energia, l'irrigazione viene effettuata con aerei per risolvere il problema e ha funzionato.

La chiesa del comune si chiama El Carmelo, un luogo piccolo, pulito e accogliente.

La centrale idroelettrica è la più importante poiché la guerriglia ha avuto alcuni incontri con i militari e anche con le milizie, si può dire che è una zona di conflitto anche oggi.
