Ciao!

Immagini molto "a gusto", insomma.

Hello!

Today I want to publish a post that has become a habit, part of an initiative renamed Towards the Bikend. Within this article, you will find a series of images created thanks to photos taken during a bicycle race held in the area where I live in.

The native photos date back to last April, precisely April 22nd. The brightness wasn't excellent, so I had to raise the ISO value of the camera, causing some little inaccuracies. The competition took place along the borders of the local industrial area and was reserved for amateur categories only. While the cyclists covered the route of the chosen lap several times, I stopped at various points and photographed the arrival of the athletes.

After choosing the best photos, I created a black and white version by tweaking some properties: lights and shadows, brightness, contrasts, vignetting, etc. The canons are, as usual, very personal and don't follow the classic criteria taught by the various philosophies present in the photographic sector. In short, very "subjective" images. Above you will find a round-up of the final result. I hope you can like them.

Bye to the next!

Sort:

why all pictures are black and white? I love riding motor bike and cycling too. These photos could be more awesome in color. I can remember once I find a post of your where a guy was riding lying on road because it was a different kind of bike. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah, it was a post about a para-cycling race. I use black and white because I like it, and I think it makes the photos a little more appealing to the eye.

Accipikkia, quanto sarebbe piaciuto a mio padre (ciclista amatore) partecipare.

Per gli appassionati è sempre un'esperienza.
