UNFORGETTABLE TRIP - Lago Grande di Avigliana 🇮🇹🇬🇧

Ieri avevo programmato una corsetta nel
pomeriggio, pero' lunedi e martedi avevo fatto una doppia seduta, palestra al mattino e corsa al pomeriggio, martedi' sera a dormire presto un po' cotto.
Quindi mercoledi' ho optato per una bella camminata attorno al lago grande di Avigliana a pochi km da casa.

Esiste una sorta di leggenda sui due laghi di Avigliana.
Si dice che Avigliana, situata su un anfiteatro morenico in Val Susa, sorgesse dove ora ci sono i laghi, famosa per la malvagita' dei suoi abitianti.
Il buon Dio per verificare questa malvagita' si presento' sotto le spoglie di un mendicante, chiese carita' bussando ad ogni casa, ma solo una vecchia in un misero casolare lo accolse e gli diede
rifugio.

A quel punto, Dio incazzato come un puma lancio' saette che crearono due crateri ed al posto del villaggio si crearono due laghi divisi da una sottile striscia di terra dove c'era la casa della
vecchina, unica sopravvissuta al divin castigo.

In realta' l'origine dei laghi risale a due glaciazioni, una 230 mila anni fa, l'altra di 120 mila anni fa.
Sono considerati fra i laghi piu' belli d'Italia, sono fra i soli 7 laghi che vantano 5 vele sulla guida blu di Legambiente e Turing Club.

Esiste poi un'altra leggenda sull'annegamento di un principe nel
1300 e rotti ma questa ve la risparmio.
Avigliana, Giaveno, Susa, sono terre antiche e le leggende non mancano di certo, in fondo Torino e' considerata una citta' magica e piena di storie ancestrali non a caso.

Al di la' di tutte queste leggende, di cui i laghi sono sempre pieni, mi sono fatto un giro attorno al lago grande in una nuvolosa giornata di inizio novembre.
Faceva pure freddino ma 8 km di buona lena hanno fatto si che quasi non me ne accorgessi.

Bel posto e pomeriggio riempito nel modo giusto.

On Wednesday November 1st I had planned a jog in
afternoon, but on Monday and Tuesday I had done a double session,
gym in the morning and running in the afternoon, Tuesday evening to sleep
soon a little cooked.
So on Wednesday I opted for a nice walk around the
large lake of Avigliana a few km from home.
There is a sort of legend about the two lakes of Avigliana.
It is said that Avigliana, located on a morainic amphitheater in Val
Susa, rose where the lakes are now, famous for its wickedness
of its inhabitants.
To verify this wickedness, the good Lord showed up below
disguised as a beggar, he asked for charity by knocking on every house, but
only an old woman in a miserable farmhouse welcomed him and gave him
refuge.
At that point, God, pissed off like a puma, threw lightning bolts
they created two craters and two lakes were created in place of the village
divided by a thin strip of land where the house of the
old lady, the only survivor of divine punishment.
In reality the origin of the lakes dates back to two glaciations, one in 230 thousand
years ago, the other 120 thousand years ago.
They are considered among the most beautiful lakes in Italy, they are among only 7 lakes
which boast 5 sails on the blue guide of Legambiente and Turing Club.
There is also another legend about the drowning of a prince in
1300 and so on but I'll save you this one.
Avigliana, Giaveno, Susa, are ancient lands and legends do not
they are certainly missing, after all Turin is considered a magical city
and full of ancestral stories, not surprisingly.
Beyond all these legends, of which the lakes are always full,
I took a walk around the big lake in a cloudy cloud
early November day.
It was also cold but 8 km of good pace made that happen
almost as if I didn't notice.
Nice place and afternoon filled in the right way.
