STOP ALLE SPOSE UNDER 18 🇮🇹🇬🇧

In questi giorni a Cuba si e' parlato molto del nuovo “Codice della famiglia”. Uno degli argomenti di cui si e' parlato, che pero' ha avuto meno risalto rispetto ad altri, e' stato quello riguardante il divieto di matrimonio per chi ha meno di 18 anni che entrera' in vigore con l'approvazione del codice stesso. L'articolo 200 di questo codice stabilisce che e' fatto divieto per i minori di 18 anni di sposarsi anche in presenza del consenso dei genitori o per mezzo di qualche sentenza di un tribunale.
La vecchia normativa stabiliva che i genitori di un/una minore o il tutore in assenza degli stessi, potevano autorizzare il matrimonio delle ragazze di almeno 14 anni e dei ragazzi di almeno 16 anni compiuti. Balza all'occhio, per chiunque abbia un po' di buon senso, che si porra' termine quella che e' stata una autentica porcheria.

Nel 2018/19 ben 918 matrimoni sono stati formalizzati fra minori di 18 anni e coniugi decisamente piu' attempati, 11 di questi con coniugi over 50, suppongo la parte maschile della coppia. Nel 2021 si sono sposate 656 ragazze minorenni e 89 ragazzi secondo il servizio demografico nazionale. Cuba e' al quinto posto fra i 23 paesi latinoamericani col piu' alto tasso di matrimoni minorili, dopo Panama, Messico, El Salvador e Belize. Se parliamo di fanciulle under 15 anni Cuba e' al settimo posto con una incidenza del 5%, insieme a Colombia e Suriname.

Il fatto che l'isola si sia posta il problema, a fronte di numeri tutto sommato non enormi in un paese di 11 milioni di abitanti, e' un sintomo di civilta' che non va sottovalutato. Occorre fare qualche considerazione, non necessariamente condivisibile ma che, se davvero si conosce la realta cubana o comunque di quei paesi, e' impossibile non tenere in considerazione.
A Cuba NON ESISTONO spose bambine, questo sia chiaro per tutti, pero' c'e' un concetto del sesso decisamente piu' lasco rispetto ai canoni occidentali. Occidentali di questi decenni perche' un tempo anche da noi, sopratutto nelle campagne, ne succedevano di tutti i colori, na ha parlato anche Cesare Pavese in un suo romanzo riguardante l'entroterra piemontese di prima del secondo conflitto mondiale e del primo dopoguerra.

Poi certo c'e' anche il fatto che sull'isola, almeno fino a 2 anni fa oggi non vi saprei dire, con 8 dollari si divorziava senza danni per nessuno, a volte anche in assenza di uno dei coniugi grazie a quella cosa strana che si chiama “divorzio per Rebeldia”. E' chiaro come in una coppia dove lei ha 16 anni e lui 50 c'e una disparita' riguardante tutto, non c'e' nessun discorso paritetico, se non si tratta di una sorta di vassallaggio poco ci manca, quindi ben vengano situazioni come il nuovo codice di famiglia per porre rimedio a questa porcheria.
