Finalmente il Ferragosto e' passato.
In realta' non si e' trattato soltanto di un giorno di festa ma di una settimana in cui abbiamo fatto pool party, schiuma party, beach party e holy color beach, questo ovviamente oltre la programmazione giornaliera normale.
Non amo particolarmente quella settimana, fai lo sforzo maggiore per quella che, probabilmente, e' la peggiore clientela della stagione.
Gente che, legittimamente, viene nelle due settimane centrali di agosto perche' non ha alternative per il tipo di lavoro che svolge e la vita che frequenta.
Gente che paga un botto e che quindi pretende molto, devo dire che abbiamo fatto tutte quelle cose ma non ci siamo ammazzati, va bene dare qualcosa di piu' ma siamo qua' da oltre 3 mesi e non era il caso di spremere troppo l'equipe.
Affiora inevitabile un po' di stanchezza, mancano ancora 4 settimane , gia' sabato prossimo mi parte la prima ragazza dello staff, piano piano ci ridurremo di numero, finiamo il 13 settembre e la mattina del 14, presto, saro' gia' in auto verso il Piemonte.
Un mese a casa, allenarmi tutti i giorni, mettere lo stomaco a posto dopo 4 mesi di ristorante e poi il 12 ottobre si parte per un mese e mezzo di meritato ristoro a Cuba.
Dopodiche' vedremo se fare un paio di mesi di stagione invernale.
Come dicevo affiora un po' di stanchezza, 4 mesi non li facevo dal 2002, non sono piu' un ragazzino e sono praticamente due mesi che si lavora sotto il sole a 33/35 gradi ogni santo giorno.
Devo dire che pero' tengo botta, si tratta ora davvero soltanto di portare la nave in porto nel miglior modo possibile.
Le recensioni sul nostro lavoro, da inizio stagione, sono tutte buonissime, proprieta' e direzione sono molto soddisfatti, davvero dobbiamo chiudere al meglio poi la missione sara' compiuta.
Poche settimane e game over.

AUGUST HALF-AUGUST HALF-AUGUST HAS PASSED
Finally August is over.
In reality it wasn't just a holiday but a week in which we had pool parties, foam parties, beach parties and holy color beaches, this obviously beyond the normal daily schedule.
I don't particularly like that week, make the greatest effort for what is probably the worst clientele of the season.
People who, legitimately, come in the two central weeks of August because they have no alternatives for the type of work they do and the life they lead.
People who pay a lot and therefore expect a lot, I must say that we did all those things but we didn't kill ourselves, it's fine to give something more but we've been here for over 3 months and it wasn't the case to squeeze the team too much.
A bit of tiredness inevitably emerges, there are still 4 weeks to go, the first girl on staff will leave next Saturday, we will slowly reduce our number, we will finish on September 13th and on the morning of the 14th, soon, I will already be in the car towards Piedmont.
A month at home, training every day, getting my stomach in order after 4 months of restaurants and then on October 12th we leave for a month and a half of well-deserved rest in Cuba.
After that we will see if we can do a couple of months of winter season.
As I was saying, a bit of tiredness emerges, I haven't done 4 months since 2002, I'm not a kid anymore and it's been practically two months of working under the sun at 33/35 degrees every single day.
I have to say that I'm holding out, now it's really just a matter of bringing the ship to port in the best possible way.
The reviews on our work, since the beginning of the season, are all very good, the owners and management are very satisfied, we really have to close in the best way then the mission will be accomplished.
