Dal 8 settembre al 23 ottobre si stanno svolgendo i mondiali di Rugby in Francia uno dei paesi che ama di piu' questo sport.
L'Italia nel Ranking mondiale e' 11esima con l'Australia ad una spanna, riuscissimo a raggiungerla sarebbe un risultato enorme visto l'esiguita' del numero di giocatori che in Italia praticano
questo sport.
Occorre dire che il Australia hanno la concorrenza del football australiano, una sorta di rugby con molte meno regole, uno sport per delinquenti veri, sempre pronti a menare le mani.
Un po' come il nostro calcio storico fiorentino.

A questi mondiali siamo inseriti nel girone con Francia, Nuova Zelanda, Uruguay e Namibia.
Abbiamo vinto bene con la Namibia, a fatica con l'Uruguay, siamo stati travolti dagli All Black neozelandesi e coi francesi oggi temo che succedera' la stessa cosa.
Il terzo posto nel girone ci garantira' comunque la presenza nei prossimi mondiali, mentre le prime due, presumibilmente Francia e Nuova Zelanda accederanno agli ottavi.

Ho sempre amato il rugby anche se e' uno dei pochi sport che non ho mai praticato, si tratta di uno sport duro ma leale, non esiste un movimento post agonistico, non e' uno sport che si puo' giocare alla nostra eta' come facciamo col calciotto coi miei Villans.
Troppe botte.
Non a caso il mondiale dura un mese e mezzo perche' fra una partita e l'altra passa sempre circa una settimana, non si puo' come nel calcio giocare ogni 3 giorni, il fisico non lo consentirebbe.

Hanno inventato il terzo tempo, quando dopo la partite le due squadre vanno insieme a bere al bar.
Non so se ne rugby professionistico sia ancora cosi', ne dubito, ma resta uno sport dove la lealta' e' al primo posto.
Avessi un figlio lo spingerei a praticarlo.

From 8 September to 23 October the Rugby World Cup is taking place in France, one of the countries that loves this sport the most.
Italy is 11th in the world ranking with Australia just a few inches away, if we could reach it it would be a huge result given the small number of players who play in Italy
this sport.
It must be said that Australia has competition from Australian football, a sort of rugby with far fewer rules, a sport for real criminals, always ready to fight.
A bit like our historic Florentine football.

At these World Cups we are placed in a group with France, New Zealand, Uruguay and Namibia.
We won well against Namibia, struggled against Uruguay, we were overwhelmed by the New Zealand All Blacks and today I fear the same thing will happen with the French.
Third place in the group will still guarantee us presence in the next World Cup, while the top two, presumably France and New Zealand, will enter the round of 16.

I have always loved rugby even though it is one of the few sports I have never practiced, it is a tough but fair sport, there is no post-competitive movement, it is not a sport that can be played at our age like let's play football with my Villans.
Too many beatings.
It's no coincidence that the World Cup lasts a month and a half because about a week always passes between one match and the next, like in football you can't play every 3 days, your body wouldn't allow it.

They invented the third half, when after the match the two teams go together to drink at the bar.
I don't know if this is still the case in professional rugby, I doubt it, but it remains a sport where loyalty comes first.
If I had a son I would push him to practice it.
