Il calcio moderno, indubbiamente ha rivalutato il ruolo del portiere.
Non che fosse caduto nel dimenticatoio ma sappiamo che da ragazzini in porta ci mettevamo quello scarso a giocare coi piedi.
Oggi il portiere oltre a parare deve essere una sorta di calciatore aggiunto.

Le cose sono cambiate quando e' entrata in vigore la regola che sul passaggio all'indietro di un compagno il portiere non poteva piu' riprenderla con le mani ma doveva giocare la palla coi piedi.
La cosa sta un po' sfuggendo di mano in quanto secondo me decine e decine di passaggi al portiere in una partita non sono esattamente un qualcosa che migliora lo spettacolo.

Sicuramente il ruolo e' cambiato, in Italia e' un momento non floridissimo per il ruolo visto anche che quasi tutte le squadre di serie A hanno un portiere straniero.
Un buon portiere a fine stagione ti ha portato almeno 5/6 punti, Handanovic, pur se contestato, contro di noi ha portato i 3 punti all'Inter, Perin ne ha portato uno alla squadra di Mughini contro la Viola, Maignan ne ha portati 3 all'Inter nel derby.
Noi con Milinkovic Savic, una sorta di Garella riuscito male, ne perdiamo diversi da quando, sciaguratamente, si è deciso di puntare su di lui.

Today the goalkeeper has to be a sort of added player as well as parrying.

Things changed when the rule came into force that on the backward pass of a teammate the goalkeeper could no longer catch it with his hands but he had to play the ball with his feet.
This is getting a bit out of hand as in my opinion dozens and dozens of passes to the goalkeeper in a match are not exactly something that improves the show.

Surely the role has changed, in Italy it is not a very flourishing moment for the role, also considering that almost all Serie A teams have a foreign goalkeeper.
A good goalkeeper at the end of the season brought you at least 5/6 points, Handanovic, even if disputed, brought the 3 points to Inter against us, Perin brought one to Mughini's team against Viola, Maignan brought them 3 to Inter in the derby.
We with Milinkovic Savic, a sort of badly managed Garella, have lost several since, unfortunately, it was decided to bet on him.
