In occasione del decimo anniversario del suo pontificato Papa Bergoglio ha dichiarato che l'obbligo del celibato per i sacerdoti ha una caratteristica temporanea.
Peccato che questa temporaneita' esista dal primo medioevo.
Francisco deve stare attento perche' una cosa simile la disse Papa
Luciani, lo trovarono secco nel letto dopo pochi giorni del suo
pontificato.

In realta' qualche eccezione esiste gia'.
I sacerdoti anglicani che sono passati alla chiesa cattolica possono
restare sposati, quelli nominati dalla chiesa orientale se hanno moglie prima di entrare nel ruolo possono mantenerla, ma si tratta
di percentuali infinitesimali.

In realta' il problema riguarda le
vocazioni, i seminaristi negli ultimi decenni sono calati del 60%,
ci sono sacerdoti che fanno i parroci in 2/3 parrocchie, parrocchie
stesse che vengono mandate avanti dai laici perche' altrimenti
chiuderebbero.
Non so se questo calo di vocazioni abbia qualcosa a che vedere con l'obbligo del celibato, ma di sicuro il fatto di passare la vita senza una dolce meta' è dei figli non aiuta.
Fra l'altro i corsi pre matrimoniali vengono tenuti nelle parrocchie da sacerdoti, mi piacere sapere in base a quale esperienza si possano permette di dare consigli sul matrimonio, quale vissuto possano vantare.

Le mie rimembranza nei confronti del Vangelo mi ricordano che da
nessuna parte c'e' scritto che un fedele del Cristo non debba avere
una compagna, non a caso Leonardo nell'ultima cena a fianco di
Gesu' piazzo' una figura che, se non e' una donna, non sembra
neanche un uomo.

Togliere questa norma
medioevale FORSE aiuterebbe ad evitare quelle migliaia di abusi
su minori di cui i sacerdoti, nel mondo, si sono resi protagonisti,
forse.
I contrari alla rimozione della norma sostengono che se hai una famiglia non puoi dedicarti anima e corpo alla tua missione che poi sostanzialmente e' un lavoro.

E' un po' come dire che se ho una palestra, un negozio, faccio
l'avvocato o il questurino non posso avere famiglia perche metterei in secondo piano il mio lavoro.

Vedremo come si evolveranno le cose anche se ho poca fiducia.
