Fa caldo
Questo e' il mantra che si sente da quando ci si sveglia al mattino a quando si va a dormire la notte, se si riesce a dormire.
Siamo in estate e fa caldo.
Non mi sembra questa grande notizia, la notizia e' che sta' accadendo esattamente quello che i metereologi ci hanno raccontanto negli ultimi 20 anni.

Quando si parlava del buco dell'ozono, dei ghiacci che si sciolgono la gente pensava che fossero cazzate invece ora ci ritroviamo con le conseguenze di questo cambio climatico.
Ci dovremo abituare ad estati sempre piu' torride, questo provochera' cambiamenti nello stile di vita delle persone.
Si lavorera' in futuro nelle ore piu' fresche piuttosto che in quelle torride, si fara' sport al mattino molto presto piuttosto che al pomeriggio e via discorrendo.
Cambiera' l'alimentazione a favore di cibi piu' liquidi.

Il problema e' che con tutti i condizionatori accesi nelle stesse ore il sistema elettrico potrebbe andarei n tilt, un po' quello che sta' accadendo a Torino dove zone della citta' sono state ore ed ore senza corrente, esattamente come accade all'Avana ma per ragioni differenti.
Gli scienziati ci avevano avvisato ma i politici se ne sono fottuti ed ora si pagano le conseguenze di un mondo che diventera' sempre piu' rovente.

Non e' solo una questione di caldo percepito da noi, e' un enorme problema per l'agricoltura, gli animali, la diponibilita' di acqua, di energia ecc...
Si sapeva e abbiamo fatto finta di nulla, inutile lamentarci adesso.

It's summer and it's hot.
This doesn't seem like big news to me; the real news is that exactly what meteorologists have been telling us for the last 20 years is happening.

When we talked about the ozone hole and melting ice, people thought it was bullshit, but now we're faced with the consequences of climate change.
We'll have to get used to increasingly hotter summers, and this will lead to changes in people's lifestyles.
In the future, people will work during the cooler hours rather than the hottest ones, they'll exercise very early in the morning rather than in the afternoon, and so on.
Diets will change in favor of more liquid foods.

The problem is that with all the air conditioners on at the same time, the electrical system could go haywire, similar to what's happening in Turin, where parts of the city have been without power for hours, just like what's happening in Havana, but for different reasons.

Scientists warned us, but politicians didn't care, and now we're paying the price for an increasingly hotter world.

It's not just a matter of how hot we feel; it's a huge problem for agriculture, animals, the availability of water, energy, and so on.

We knew about it, but we pretended nothing happened. There's no point in complaining now.
