Aggiornamento situazione sul mio prossimo soggiorno a Cuba, sempre nell'ambito di quel 10% della vita che scelgo di condividere.
Essendo il mio blog e non un organo di stampa pubblico anche situazioni personali che nessuno pero' e obbligato a leggere, la porta di uscita, nel caso, e' in fondo a sinistra.
Sempre a sinistra.

In questi giorni mi sono sentito con un paio di amici italiani che, come il sottoscritto, fanno lavori stagionali, a ottobre finiscono e si spostano a Cuba fino ad aprile del prossimo anno.
Ovviamente sento anche amici all'Avana e naturalmente a Las Tunas, la mia citta'.
Di nuovo c'e' che il mio familion e' partito per il paese europeo dove vive la figlia da alcuni anni.
Figlia con cui ebbi una breve storia 15 anni fa, con cui ho sempre mantenuto ottimi rapporti visto che la sua famiglia e' anche la mia e che ho tutto a casa loro, cosa che mi permette di viaggiare sempre e solo col bagaglio a mano.
Mi immagino il boss e la sciura per la prima volta in aereo, Havana con scalo a Roma prima di raggiungere il paese di destinazione.
Torneranno a fine settembre.
Tre mesi senza apagones, con la comida europea e una vita tutto sommato comoda, se lo meritano.

Alla fine al 95% ho deciso, forse...
Faro' a Cuba un unico periodo di 4 mesi o giu' di li'.
Chi segue il blog sa che ne ho parlato diverse volte, l'alternativa era di fare i soliti 2 viaggi da 55 giorni ciascuno.
Da un lato un solo viaggio e' un risparmio di almeno 2000 euro comprensivi anche di luce, riscaldamento e vita italiana, dall'altro visto che ad arrivare a Tunas da casa mia ci metto piu' di 40 ore....e' un bello sbattimento in meno.
Valgioie-Torino-Milano-Madrid-Havana-Las Tunas-Casa.
Una volta all'anno direi che puo' bastare, e' vero che adoro viaggiare ma, come diceva il Principe "ogni limite ha una pazienza".

Air Europa al momento, non ci sono alternative, aspetto ancora poco per acquistare il biglietto.
Probabilmente acquistero' solo l'andata, 350 euro, poi se mi rompo le palle prima rientro quando voglio.
Un ritorno a 4 mesi gia' acquistato un po' mi spaventa, preferisco decidere quando saro' la'.
Ho visto che Viazul ha ripristinato la ruta delle 22.45 che ultimamente non veniva venduta, toccava aspettare le 23.55 per la guagua giusta.
C'a' anche Pedrocarr ma per ora la ruta alle 21 non mi quadra molto con gli orari di arrivo dalla Spagna, i margini sono stretti, troppo.
I prezzi, ne abbiamo parlato, si sono equiparati a 55 euro, troppo sia per Viazul che per Pedrocarr in funzione del servizio prestato, pero' quella possibilita c'e' ed occorre accontentarsi.

Credo che partiro' il 2 novembre, giorno funereo in Italia ma ottimo per partire, l'alternativa e' il 9 novembre, vedremo.
Rientro?
Boh...
Possibilmente entro il 10 marzo, non oltre, ma tutto e' ancora in divenire.
Aguanto 4 mesi con apagones e tutto?
Domanda antica, al massimo ci ho fatto 2 mesi ma, apagones a parte non e' che a Cuba si stia poi cosi male con qualche euro nel borsillo, lontano dall'inverno sabaudo.

Ultimi giorni all'Avana sicuramente, ho buoni amici che ho davvero la voglia di rivedere, questa volta qualche giorno nella capitale non me lo faro' mancare.
Dai, tutto e' deciso, credo.

Update on my upcoming trip to Cuba, still within the scope of that 10% of life I choose to share.
Since this is my blog and not a public media outlet, I'll also share personal situations that no one is obligated to read about. The exit door, if that's the case, is at the bottom left.

I've been in touch with a couple of Italian friends these days who, like me, have seasonal jobs. They finish their jobs in October and move to Cuba until April of next year.
Of course, I also have friends in Havana and, of course, in Las Tunas, my hometown.
What's new is that my family has left for the European country where my daughter has been living for a few years.
My daughter, with whom I had a brief affair 15 years ago, has always maintained an excellent relationship, given that her family is also mine and I have everything at their house, which allows me to always travel with carry-on luggage only.
I imagine the boss and the lady on a plane for the first time, Havana with a stopover in Rome before reaching their destination.
They'll be back at the end of September.
Three months without apagones, with European food and a relatively comfortable life, they deserve it.

In the end, I'm 95% sure I've made up my mind, maybe...
I'll spend a single 4-month or so in Cuba.
Those who follow the blog know I've talked about it several times; the alternative was to take the usual two trips of 55 days each.
On the one hand, a single trip saves at least 2,000 euros, including electricity, heating, and Italian living. On the other hand, since it takes me over 40 hours to get to Tunas from my home... it's a whole lot less hassle.

Once a year, I'd say, is enough. It's true that I love traveling, but as the Prince used to say, "every limit has its own patience."

Air Europa at the moment, there are no alternatives. I'll wait a little longer to buy the ticket.
I'll probably just buy the outbound ticket, €350, then if I get bored early, I can come back whenever I want.
A return flight four months later, already booked, scares me a little; I prefer to decide when I'll be there.
I saw that Viazul has reinstated the 10:45 PM route, which hadn't been selling recently. I had to wait until 11:55 PM for the right one.
There's also Pedrocarr, but for now, the 9 PM route doesn't really fit with the arrival times from Spain; the margins are too tight.
The prices, as we discussed, have come to 55 euros, too much for both Viazul and Pedrocarr considering the service provided, but that option is there and we have to make do.

I think I'll leave on November 2nd, a sad day in Italy but a great day to leave. The alternative is November 9th, we'll see.
Return?
Who knows...
Possibly by March 10th, no later, but everything is still in flux.

Age-old question, I've only done two months, but, apagones aside, it's not like life in Cuba is so bad with a few euros in your pocket, far from the Savoy winter.

Last few days in Havana for sure. I have good friends I really want to see again, so this time I won't miss out on a few days in the capital.
Come on, everything's decided, I think.
