Sono arrivati in Calabria i primi 51 medici inviati da Cuba, sono la prima parte di un nutrito gruppo di 500 galenos che l'isola invia nella regione calabrese per aiutare il presidente Occhiuto (centro destra) a non chiudere gli ospedali per carenza di personale specializzato.

Come ha detto il presidente stesso questi cubani non rubano il posto a nessuno, semplicemente aiutano a chiudere enormi falle di
personale ereditate da anni ed anni di scellerata gestione da parte della regione.

La regione si occupera' dell'alloggio dei medici, versera' nelle casse dell'Isola 4700 euro lordi al mese per ogni professionale, una parte dei quali andra' ai medici stessi mentre l'altra verra' utilizzata dal servizio sanitario cubano per far fronte alle carenza di
medicine e tecnologie che si sta manifestando negli ospedali dell'isola.

Non si tratta di una “missione” come e' accaduto con l'invio di
medici cubani a Torino e Crema durante la pandemia, ma di un accordo stipulato fra la regione Calabria e l'ente preposto da Cuba per questo tipo di accordi, sotto l'occhio vigile dell'ambasciata cubana in Italia.

Il contratto e' di 5 anni, a naso direi che molti di questi medici si fermeranno in Italia anche dopo il termine del contratto stesso ma lo scopriremo solo vivendo.
Tutta gente specializzata, che ha fatto missioni in luoghi del pianeta dove non vedevano un medico da decenni, gente tosta, cubanos de pura cepa.

Ognuno dovra' confermare la volontarieta' della sua scelta ma viste le difficolta' che si incontrano oggi a Cuba credo che anche per loro questo contratto sia un dono del cielo.
E' possibile che alcuni di loro abbiano viaggiato con me da La Habana a Parigi, cosi' mi e' sembrato di vedere osservando un gruppo di cubani in partenza, quello davanti a me in coda per il check aveva un passaporto diverso da quello normale.

E' sempre stato il sogno di
Fidel quello di inviare medici dove ce ne fosse bisogno, oltre a quello ad ospitare nelle facolta' di medicina cubane studenti di tutto il mondo.
Un sogno che si e' avverato.

THE FIRST 51

The first 51 doctors sent from Cuba have arrived in Calabria, they are the first part of a large group of 500 galenos that the island sends to the Calabrian region to help President Occhiuto (center right) not to close hospitals due to lack of specialized personnel .

As the president himself said, these Cubans do not steal anyone's job, they simply help close huge gaps
personnel inherited from years and years of wicked management by the region.

The region will take care of housing the doctors, and will pay 4,700 euros gross per month to the island's coffers for each professional, part of which will go to the doctors themselves while the other will be used by the Cuban health service to deal with to shortages of
medicines and technologies that is manifesting itself in the hospitals of the island.

It is not a "mission" as happened with the sending of
Cuban doctors in Turin and Crema during the pandemic, but of an agreement stipulated between the Calabria region and the body set up by Cuba for this type of agreement, under the watchful eye of the Cuban embassy in Italy.

The contract is for 5 years, on the nose I would say that many of these doctors will stay in Italy even after the end of the contract itself but we will only find out by living.
All specialized people, who have made missions to places on the planet where they haven't seen a doctor for decades, tough people, cubanos de pura cepa.

Everyone will have to confirm the voluntary nature of his choice, but given the difficulties encountered today in Cuba, I believe that this contract is a gift from heaven for them too.
It is possible that some of them traveled with me from Havana to Paris, so I thought I saw a group of departing Cubans, the one in front of me in the queue for check had a different passport than the normal one.

It has always been the dream of
Fidel to send doctors wherever they are needed, as well as to host students from all over the world in Cuban medical faculties.
A dream that has come true.
