In questa immane tragedia che ha colpito la splendita terra emiliano romagnola ed altre zone del centro del paese c'e' comunque una immagine che trovo bellissima e che mi fa sperare che, in fondo, non tutto e' perduto.
I ragazzi.

Gli Angeli del fango, come con un po' di retorica ed un richiamo
storico all'alluvione di Firenze, sono chiamati i ragazzi che, giunti da tutte le parti di Italia stanno dando una mano per uscire da questo disastro.

Mentre i politici si riempiono la bocca di parole, questi ragazzi,
completamente coperti di fango danno il loro contributo di sudore
e fatica aiutando quella sventurata terra.
Sono bellissimi nella loro splendida gioventu'.

Molti arrivano da Milano, Torino, Roma, dal sud, sono cosi' tanti
che i sindaci hanno chiesto che non ne arrivino altri per non
ostacolare i soccorsi.

Non si sono fatti domande, non si sono chiesti se era giusto andare, sono semplicemente partiti coi loro 15/16/17/18 anni per dimostrare al mondo che la nostra gioventu' e' sempre quella bellissima che ricordiamo, che noi siamo stati.

Pala in mano, stivali alti, in mezzo al fango fino alle cosce salvano
gente, animali, attrezzature, aiutano chi ha perso tutto a ritrovare
perlomeno quel poco di dignita' e quella voglia di ricominciare
comunque e sempre.

Io lo sapevo che la nostra gioventu' era cosi, ogni tanto mi incazzo
ma li conosco, li frequento nei villaggi turistici come compagni di
lavoro, in palestra come clienti, conosco i loro sogni, le loro
voglie, i loro progetti.

Sapevo che il paese, nelle sue ore piu' tristi, poteva contare su di
loro.
Ora pero' basta con le menate, con “basta dare il reddito a questi
che vivono sul divano” con le tende davanti alle universita', con il
considerarli come una branco di nullafacenti o solo come quegli idioti che imbrattato dipinti e monumenti.
Hanno dimostrato che se motivati loro ci sono.
Forse, ripeto, non tutto e' perduto.

In this terrible tragedy that struck the splendid earth
Emilia Romagna and other areas of the town center there is
however, an image that I find beautiful and that gives me hope
that, after all, all is not lost.
The boys.
Mud Angels, as with a bit of rhetoric and a reminder
historian to the flood of Florence, the boys are called who, having arrived
from all parts of Italy are lending a hand to get out of
this disaster.
While politicians fill their mouths with words, these guys,
completely covered in mud they give their contribution of sweat
and labor helping that unfortunate land.
They are beautiful in their splendid youth.
Many come from Milan, Turin, Rome, from the south, there are so many
that the mayors have asked that no others arrive for not
hinder relief efforts.
They didn't ask themselves questions, they didn't ask themselves if it was right
go, they just left with their 15/16/17/18 years for
demonstrate to the world that our youth is always the same
beautiful that we remember, that we have been.
Shovel in hand, high boots, through the mud up to the thighs save
people, animals, equipment, help those who have lost everything to find
at least that little dignity and that desire to start over
however and always.
I knew that our youth was like this, sometimes I get pissed
but I know them, I frequent them in tourist villages as companions
work, in the gym as clients, I know their dreams, their
desires, their projects.
I knew that the country, in its saddest hours, could count on
