I always had a more special feeling when I met this future. Among the day butterflies from our country, it gives you the feeling that it is a bit nobler, although it is clear that anthropomorphic references are not decent to attach to other kinds of creatures. However, it stands out in terms of size, color, flight style, so you can distinguish it from other butterflies even while driving.

From a distance it can be confused with the sword butterfly, Iphiclides podalirius, the other species of the Papilionidae family that is present in our country; and that one is also with a swallow's tail, also yellow and black, a little paler and slimmer, with a more striped pattern.

When you talk about the beauty of a species, it's a bit subjective; especially to compare different butterflies, which almost all of them, if viewed closely, have their own beauty.

I can imagine a flowery field, where I could take macro pictures with swallowtail butterflies, in perfect light, so that I could somehow reproduce that feeling of boundless admiration that I felt when I was a small child - at 5 or 7 years old. and these swallowtail butterflies seemed of incomparably great delicacy and vigor and beauty.

About the same level as the beauty of owls of any kind, which at that time I had never seen alive, I only knew of their existence.
