The search for happiness, satisfaction, can take many different forms, and artistic or scientific creativity remain among the most attractive forms of personal fulfillment. On a pyramid of human needs, artistic expression, intellectual creativity is of course at the top. Photography is somewhere on the edge between them, neither pure art nor knowledge in itself, a unique pleasurable amalgam that becomes influential in the postmodern world. Happiness through Photography? The pleasure of creating Art? Photography is often a pretext for walking, for analysis, for more-detailed-knowledge. It is a goal that can make you more dynamic, both on the physical plane of travel and on the intellectual and sentimental realm. Taking pictures often makes me feel that such an occupation gives me a high quality of the day that inevitably passes.
We have time? Furious Chase versus Human Life? Our life in constant haste overwhelms the days one after another. It is interesting to play with the idea of allocating time for unusual issues, something artistic, some time for meditation, thinking, analysis of the World, creation of any kind, communication…

In our time of absurd financial chase, activities can otherwise become a Nirvana-inspired relaxation. Most evaluate success in the money produced, possibly in 'career success'. There is in this way of life a mechanization and robotization, a loss of freedom of thought, a chase for money to pay for meaningless overconsumption. It is forgotten the pleasure of living, the pleasure of having free time, the pleasure of walking through the forest and listening to birds, the pleasure of reading a book that interests you, the pleasure of thinking freely, of creating, of offering society what you know best to do and be rewarded for it… as much as society can. However, to be creative you must have freedom, relaxation, time and energy to be able to allocate a chance to the thought process, meditation, a chance to create something new and valuable.
