Book Fair 2024 📖

In the heart of February, the month of language and love, Mamun and Friend decided to visit the Ekushey Book Fair in Dhaka. The book fair, held annually at Bangla Academy, is a tribute to the brave souls who fought for the recognition of the Bengali language.

As they entered the fair, they were greeted by the sight of countless stalls, each filled with books of every genre imaginable. The air was filled with the scent of new books and the sound of pages turning.

They wandered from stall to stall, picking up books, flipping through the pages, and discussing their finds. Rahim, an avid reader of historical novels, found a new book on the liberation war of Bangladesh. Karim, on the other hand, was drawn to a collection of contemporary Bengali poetry.

As they walked around, they also enjoyed the cultural performances happening around the fair. They watched a group of young artists performing a play based on a famous Bengali novel.

After spending hours at the fair, they decided to end their day with a cup of tea from a nearby vendor, talking about their new books under the open sky. It was a day well spent, immersed in literature and friendship.
