130 million population in India 'at risk' Bengali language!
India is one of the largest and most populous countries in the world. Bengali language is very common here. After that, the states of West Bengal and Tripura are known as the main languages of Bengali. However, in other states such as Assam, Jharkhand, Odisha, Bihar etc. Bengali language is used to a lesser extent.
Hindi, English, and Urdu are mostly spoken by people of these language families in Kolkata and other big cities. However, the extraordinary example of respect and love for the Bengali language is part of the culture and tradition of Bangladesh. To see that respect and love, institutions spend a lot on promoting the Bengali language.
India consists of 28 states and 8 Union Territories, each of which is inhabited by people of different religions, languages and cultures. Recently there has been a lot of weakness in the promotion of the mother tongue in this vast Bangladesh, which may be due to some social and political reasons.
There is a need to increase communication and awareness between the government and society to overcome such vulnerabilities. Awareness and deep respect for people's language and culture should be created so that they take care to respect and promote their mother tongue and culture.
The education system cannot be used only as a medium to increase awareness of people's mother tongue and culture. Rather, this awareness can be created in various ways with the cooperation of government, society, and institutions. Promotion and management of Bengali language in schools and colleges needs to be increased and it is the basic responsibility of the institution.

Another important issue is the use of information and communication technology in the use and promotion of the Bengali language. Mobile and the Internet a major achievements for the development of the Bengali language. Providing different types of services in Bengali, and use of the Bengali language in books, magazines, and online platforms should be increased.
The importance and status of the Bengali language can be increased by using social institutions, cultural organizations, and various types of promotion and dissemination media. Through this promotion and awareness in the social section, the pride of Bengali language tradition, culture, and language can be enhanced.
With everyone's awareness, cooperation, and efforts, the Bengali language and culture will progress on the path of improvement. The Bengali language will be more influential in its rich heritage, culture, and proud beliefs.
