The Basilica del Voto Nacional

The Basilica del Voto Nacional is the biggest of all holy places at Quito and enlivened by Bourges Cathedral in France.

It is the biggest neo-Gothic basilica in the World. The development started in 1887 and was nearly wrapped up by 1909. Neighborhood legend says that when the Basilica is finished, the apocalypse will come. So it in fact stays ''incomplete''. Like you can see on the image, they are still in development till today and it doesn't seem as though they are going to complete it soon!
