Hey Steempies...

I hope you all are fine and healthy staying inside your home and enjoying time with family.

I have never been a tourist guide to anyone, even not for my friends who want to visit places which I am more familiar than them. Now @steemitblog is giving me a chance to be a Tourist Guide for 24 hours which I would love to do in real life.

First of all, if someone comes to my area and wants me to be his/her tourist guide, I will appreciate him/her to give me this opportunity.

There are some places which I love to roam personally and will take that person to those places. My area is located on higher altitude and there are some tourist places which are located on high altitudes than the city.

The place where I often visit with my friends occasionally is known by its high altitude named as Pir Ki Gali. It is one of the highest tourist place in my area.
In the above picture, there is this small house which is built for serving purpose. On the side of this house, there is a graveyard where a famous saint is laid to rest. The place is named as Pir=saint, "ki Gali"=Place of, as the saint is laid to rest there so it is named as Pir Ki Gali=Place of Saint. It lies in a way to Rajouri-another district which is nearly 300 kms away. So whenever someone has to go Rajouri, he/she go through this route. This route is risky as it goes all over through Pir Panjal mountains.
That is the first place where I will take that person under my guidance.

One more place is Dabjan, which comes in the way to Pir Ki Gali. Dabjan is famous for dense forests and a popular spring. Most of the time in year, it keeps covered with snow. Whenever someone visits this places, it feels the real nature, the wind breeze, the greenery and the dense forests catches all attention.

One more place is Aharabal which is famous for its waterfall named as Aharabal Waterfall. This waterfall was once two stories high but due to high speed of water flow, stones keep breaking and its height decreases. The river which on which this waterfall is situated is named as Vashev. It has a beautiful park built on it where moat of the visitors love to have lunch. Apart from its natural beauty, it is also dangerous, it has taken many human lives. As so many people keep going near to waterfall where they lost their consciousness and fall into the waterfall.

Another place is Kounsarnag, which is 27 kms from Aharabal. It takes almost half day to reach there from Aharabal due to lack of road. From Aharabal, no transport can go there, peoples can go there only by foot.
Kounsarnag is basically a spring which is the origin of Vashev river and an unknown river which goes to another country[locals said].

I know a person can not visit all these places in a single day but if I will get a chance to guide someone, I will take them to all of these places as possible.

This is my entry for @steemitblog 's 100 DAYS OF STEEM challenge—Local Tourist Guide for 24 Hours.
