Here are a few Photos from our road trip up to Canada last summer ...

These are the views from Lake Superior, Ontario Canada during the beautiful summer months of July and August. Just a short drive from Wawa, near Batchewana Ontario. We spend a lot of time kayaking and fishing on this lake.

Most of my family lives up there. Our Ojibwe (Chippewa) ancestors have been in this area for the past 25,000 years. Deep roots.

Lake Superior is one of the largest Fresh Water Lakes in the World and is very clean and cold. It warms up to about 80 degrees in August but is much colder in the deeper water.

I recommend that soon as this Quarantine is over that everyone make the drive to see Lake Superior in Canada. Bring some kayaks and fishing rods. There is trout, bass, perch, pickerel (walleye) and Northern Pike. I would say August is the best time to visit.
